I am currently 9 weeks and 4 days. I will be having my first trimester screening in a week and a half. I am very nervous about this for some reason. Do they always come back and say your child has a chance of downs? Is an ultrasound performed?

I have been very tired, more than usual, the past week. I have also been sick to my stomach, have had pains around my hip bones, I've been constpated, have had mood swings, and back pains. I had a period 3-4 weeks ago. Am I pregnant, or could it be my head messing with me. I have thought I was pregnant before.

My due date was last monday. I am just so frustrated with all the pain and the false labor. I have been 1cm for over a month, I lost my mucus plug about 2 weeks ago, and I am 80% effaced. What do you think? lol How long did you go over before they said they would induce you. I am suppose to go in today for a stress test and some other tests. I really hope they induce or atleast schedule one. I am sooo tired of being pregnant, i feel so helpless.

Its not time for me too start until next week and I found just a little spot of brown blood on my undee's and that's it. Is it too soon to test or should I wait until next week? Does it sound like I'm pregnant?

I'm not having the contractions that I THOUGHT I was having last night (They were seriously very very intense pains along with my belly tightening about every 5-7 min....Around 6am, When I got up with my fiance before he went to work, They just kinda disappeared, And allowed me a couple hours of rest before I had to get up with my 18 month old)..Anyway...I'm having them off & on again, I haven't taken the time to 'time' them...And I'm also losing my 'plug', I've went to the restroom twice now, And upon wiping discovered a VERY slimy mess that's clear and kinda brown'ish..I'm also having like a constant cramping in my lower belly and back...Is this the first stage of labor?!? Is it too early to go to the hospital?!

I've already made arrangements w/ my parents to come and pick my 18 month old up this afternoon, Just in case...But if it's not close to being time, I'm going to call and have them wait....

Any advice?

I am going to be induced on wed. I will be 41 weeks and 3 days. I have been walking around for almost 2 months now at only 1cm dilated and fully effaced, but nothing is changing. They done and ultrasound and he is 8lbs and already head down. I have to go in at 1:00am that morning and they are going to put a gel on my cervix that is supposed to help me dilate and also give me some type of pill. Then they said that they want me to sleep for a couple of hours and then they will do the gel again in 3 hours and the pill in 4 hours. If I have dilated enough the doc. is going to break my water to help things along, and maybe start poticin. Has anyone else gone through this type of induction method? and how soon after they gave you the med. and gel did you start dilating and eventually go into labor? I hope that I will dilate and get things going because I dont want to have a c-section. Anyway, some advice and stories are welcomed. Thanks!

I had tubal ligation one year ago. We have three boys and the youngest is almost 14 months. I feel pregnant. I am 12 days late and today I felt quesy and faint. I told my husband I'm going to pick up a pregnancy test just to be sure and he flipped out saying you better not be pregnant or we are suing the doctor. I know I have to just go out and buy the test and do it but I'm feeling really panicked. Has anyone ever gotten pregnant after a tubal? Thanks.

Ok here is the deal I had my doughter back in Aug. 16 2006 and I still haven't had my preiod yet. I'm worried that I am pregnant because my husband and I had unpretected sex, but I am not geting any symptomes of me being pregnant yet. Would I be pregnant or eill I hav a period soon?

I 'm 36 weeks pregnant, i have been in horrible pain for the last 5 weeks, i cant even walk anymore, i have been with contractions that dont change or open my cervix, i went to emergency room last week and they tried to stop the contractions but they couldnt, so they send me home with this pain because is not changing my cervix. I got really mad because thye dont care if i 'm suffering.I had a c-section with my last baby, this time hey asked me if i want to have a vbac or another c-section,i said i want the c-section because my baby is just 16 months old, i m afraid my uterus will rupture. The doctor says they wont do a csection before 39 weeks, they dont care that i feel terrible. I was thinking if i tell them that i want to try a vaginal birth, would they induce me earlier??? at least 38 weeks, because i had an ultrasound that shows that my baby was almost 6 pounds at 32 weeks. Now i m 36 weeks and baby is probably 8 pounds. what do you think?

My insurance company just told me they only covor ONE sonogram throughoutt the entire pregnancy unless there is pregnancy problems. Is this normal??? How much are sonograms if you pay out of pocket?

Started BC Oct. 12. Had unprotected sex several times from Oct. 13-18th. Still continued to take 21 pills and now there's no period during my placebo days which will end tomorrow. Boob soreness, severe nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, general uneasiness. Took home test and negative. Have a doc's appt. Thursday for a blood test. What do you think? What are the chances when I was taking the BC? Could all this just be side effects from the pill?

i already ovulated on the 17th. im 6 days late for my period, and now my cervix is high again, like im ovulating again.. well this time, my cervix is so high i cant even feel it. i doubt that im ovulating because i dont have the type of cm, and i always get a little cramping when ovulating, i have no cramps what so ever, and my breasts are hurting, when i squeeze my nipples they hurt too. could i be pregnant? im waiting till im atleast 2 weeks late to take a blood test.
