Pregnancy - November 2006

I didn't interact with the child that had it, but i'm sure my daughter would have a higher chance of getting it because the parents didn't know until over the weekend. My question is I'm in my first trimester and I was told that if you are pregnant, it could harm the fetus, I'm doing some blood work in a couple of weeks. The nurse told me it could increase my chances of a miscarriage. Any personal experiences on this?

I am 41 weeks pregnant and I had a few questions. I am going in on wed. at 1:00am to be induced but I am having problems now. I have been up all night with diarrhea and feeling sick to my stomach. Sometimes when it feels like I have to go to the bathroom for #2 nothing will come out and other times its diarrhea. I have had a few contractions but nothing major. I am starting to get hungry but I dont want to eat because I am feeling so sick to my stomach. Also at night I didnt sleep because my hips and hands kept going numb and would wake me up within like 30 min of falling asleep because they would start hurting. Did anyone else experience any of these things before they started actual labor? and if so how long after feeling so sick did labor start? I have already called my doc. and I am waiting for him to call back but I was seeking some advice until then. Thanks for all your help!

I did 4 clearblue digital tests which all came out pregnant yesterday and 2 predictor tests which came out negative today. Can antone tell me if the clearblue can detect the pregnancy hormone earlier or not?

I have ALL the symptoms. Sickness, headaches, fatigue, ect. I had sex a few times last month with my fiance, but I am supposed to start next week. Is it too early to worry about taking the test? I'm just worried and my fiance keeps having dreams about me being pregnant (and he's not a dreamer). I would appreciate any answers I can get, except for those stupid answers which people tell me that I should have been more careful. I don't go answer your questions with dumb remarks that you don't want. So I don't want you to do that with me. Thanks for all you helpful people out there!

Have any of you had a pinched nerve in your back because you were/are pregnant? I am 5 months pregnant and in so much pain sometimes I can't even walk. Does this go away while you are still pregnant or does it go away after you have the baby. If this keeps up can the doctor put me on bed rest or something? It is extremely hard to sit here at my desk and work when I am in so much pain. Also, I haven't and don't want to take any sort of medicine while pregnant or use heating pads so any home remedies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. I have already gone to the doctor and she said it would have to run its course.

I havent had my period in 3 months. But i have taken a preg.test and they read negative! My boyfriend and i have been together for 4 years and dont use protection. And i stopped using the pill or shot when i got back from Iraq........made me gain weight. I'm confused any suggestions? thank you!

Last week I started to bleed heavily after not having a period for 7 weeks. The pregnancy test I did was negative. I went to the doctor who prescribed me tablets. He said I was having a miscarraige. I have fainted twice in the past week and feel that I am having contractions. I bled very heavily for 3 days and spotting for few days after that. My stomach is very sore. How long does pain and bleeding last when you have a miscarriage? Id appreciate any answers or advice from women that have experienced the same. Thanks

I found out I was pregnant eight weeks ago. The doctor said that I was still only two weeks, about two weeks later I had bleeding (almost like AF). They did blood work; the results were that I miscarried. AF has still not come. Its three days late. I am never late. Could I be pregnant. about how far along should you be able to see a fetus through an internal ultra sound? my friend has known she's been pregnant for about 2 weeks and she went for an ultra sound and they couldn't find a heartbeat or a fetus but said she might not be that far a long or somethings wrong. we're waiting results of a bloodtest!!

I have a nine month old daugther that I still breastfeed about 4-6 times a day(she's on solids mostly). I began getting my period back when my daugther turned six months. My husband and I are trying to conceive and we tried at all the right times last month(and then some). I thought for sure that I was pregnant, by the way I had been feeling...but...my period was 3 days late, and then it started! It threw me for a loop! Do you think that I will have a hard time getting pregnant while still breastfeeding? My husband and I never had to "try" hard with our other two....first time of planning, and boom, i was pregnant! I have even thought that maybe I'm pregnant and still getting a period, but I know that's just wishful thinking....what do you all think?? Is breastfeeding really going to make is hard for us?

I am worried because I am 6 weeks pregnant and This morning I started having some light colored bleeding... Only thing i can think of is that last night my husband and I had intimate relations and then this morning is when I noticed i am bleeding a little..... is this normal or should I call my doctor???? i AM HAVING some mild cramping but not severe???
