I did 4 clearblue digital tests which all came out pregnant yesterday and 2 predictor tests which came out negative today. Can antone tell me if the clearblue can detect the pregnancy hormone earlier or not?

I can relate to your problem, the beginning of this year i thought i was pregnant and took several test which either came out negative or didn't work at all, certain tests can't detect the hormone that is produced when pregnant until it reaches a certain level in the body, so some may detect it but others wont. Clear Blue is one of the better brands, but i would suggest you see your doctor... you may not have to have a blood test as they have the highest quality tests which can detect the hormone very very early. I was pregnant... the doctor was great and very helpful.

Think Clearblue can predict earlier than other tests but make an appointment to see the doctor anyway. Sounds like congratulations may be in order !

If your period is late, I'd go to the doctors and get a test done there to be 100% sure. If you're not due yet I'd guess that you are pregnant as some tests can detect the hormones in smaller doses.
Good luck either way.

I would say you are pregnant. Why did you need to do so many tests, surely one would have been sufficient? Is it because you don't really want to be pregnant. If your breasts are tender and you have done the test then yes. If I were you, I would do another test in 4 weeks time just to confirm it.

If a preganacy test says you are pregnant, you are definitely preganant. It is detecting the levels of the chemical HCL which is only present when you are pregnant.
If a test says you are not pregnant there is a chance it could be wrong, if the levels of HCL are very low or if your urine is very diluted. This is why it is best to take the test in the morning, when the levels of HCL are most concentrated.
So - yes you are preganant! Congratulations xx

I would go to the chemists or the doctors and get a test done.
Some tests measure the amount of HCG in your urine different and have a different "threshold" for positive/negative. Not sure which is the best one. I got a positive from a common or garden TESCOS' test!

I was told by my doctor when i fell pregnant that you never get a false positive but you can get false negatives. I only took one test and it showed positive - i went to the doctors straight away and they didnt even give me a test there, just told me that the positive on the home test would be correct.
I would say that you are preganant.

I would say you are pregnant for sure. U can't get false positive results, but you can get false negative results. Clear Blue is one of the best for early accuracy too. Take a wee sample to your docs for confirmation- make sure it is of your first wee in the morning as this will hold the most pregnancy hormone. x

Are you saying you got two positive and two negative? The only way to know for sure is to go to your doctor for a blood test... That's what I'd recommend before spending more money on those tests...
