depends on the state that you are in.
In ny it depends on how much you make monthly.
At the Medicaid Office they have forms to let you see a chart with the maximum you can make per month.

PS in some other states like Florida, you can't get medicaid unless u have a disability. If you have a child they only give it to the child not parent.

it depends on your income level. My friend worked part time and her husband worked full time and they still were able to keep medicaid because didnt make a lot even together.

yes you can just to go to the Medicaid office and put in an application. They should give you wick for now and then food stamps.

as long as your income doesnt over qualify you for assitance you can go on dept of children and put your county behind it to see if you qualify or not. oh and I live in Florida the statement above is not true my step sister in not disabled and recieves medicaid.

where I live it comes down to your yearly income, however there are programs that if you make too much you may pay $5-10 a month for coverage for kids as long as your employer DOES NOT offer insurance

medicaid is easy to get when you are preg.. the income limit is very high and they consider you two people,so it is easy to get even with a fulltime job

Funny, I asked the same thing. My employer informed me that I was not able to work as long as I was officially on maternity leave recieving maternity pay.
