my period just started after being 2 weeks late and i thought i was pregnant.. does this mean i'm not pregnant??? no ejaculate got in me...

Hi, my wife did IVF, egg retrieval was on the 08/15/06 and doctor put back 2 B class fertilized eggs on the 18th of August, we found out that she is pregnant on the08/29/06 her hormonal level was more then espected , a week ago on the 09/10/06 we went for ultrasound because she had cramps doctor stated tha the uterus is well nourished and that after a blood work her hormonal level was exellent, we go back again on 09/18/06 and doctor could not hear the heart beat as per him she is 7.5 weeks and he is afraid that she might have misscarriage he did the bloodwork and her hormonal level is more the exellent over 20000 , we are confused and we hope that on next test will show heart beat we are afraid first child and after 8 years of traying hard, what to do will our baby in next visit show signs of life , actually will he grow?, thanks EDI

I am anemic and I need iron. Yes, it is something in my prescribed prenatal pills, but I can't take them they are to big, and when i cut them, the taste makes me throw up. so, can I take iron pills???

Hi!!
I'm getting very sharp pain down in my vagina, It hurt's so bad I can hardley move to get out of bed!! This happens when I'm laying and my god it hurts!! My doctor said it was normal?? Does any one really know what's going on????

i had my first child right after my 18th birthday, and was told i couldnt have my tubes tide until i was 21. i was on the shot and gained so much weight it made me sick. now i am pregnant again,and thinking of having an abortion,there is no way my boyfriend and i can take care of another, is there anything i can say to the doctor to make them let me?i am 19 now

I finally got my period today. It was about 2 weeks late. Now I'm having awful cramping. I'm going to buy some Midol and hope that works. It's also really heavy. Do you think it could be a miscarriage? I don't have health insurance so I can't go see a doctor. I also tried calling our local clinic and they said all they could do was put me on birth control. So unless the pain gets too unbearable I'm not going to a doctor. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

I work in a library and the job can be fairly physical, with carrying heavy books and crates, on my feet all day and lots of moving about. I am 5 weeks pregnant and having some twinges in my right side wich only go when I lie down. Im off to see my doctor tomorrow and am thinking of asking her to sign me off work for a couple of weeks untill the twinges calm down. Do u think this is justified? I have had a previous miscarriage so am a little paranoid this time around, ansd want to be careful.

I'm not pregnant yet but I wanna be soon. I've asked some friends and apparently whenever one of them has stretch marks, someone else in her family does. This makes me think there is a genetic bias to acquire them, is there actually?
My mother has them and so does my aunt (my mother's sister) and I would really love not to.

Do you know any precise way to avoid those disgusting lines?

I'm only about 6 weeks pregnant right now. I work as a waitress and I work an 8-10 hour shift. My husband has a good job so my job isn't necessary but it's a little extra income and that always helps out. Anyone know if it is ok to waitress? How long should I work? I want as smooth a pregnancy as possible. Thanks so much for any input!

I am 36 weeks and a couple days pregnant. I found out I have gestational diabetes. I have been having so much pain and feeling like crap,and my stomache feels like its going to pop! I am a smaller framed person and my husband is a stockier built person. Do you think there is any way for them to induce me or schedule a c-section soon? Or will they most lilely make me wait untill I go into natural labor. I want to tell my dr. today when I go about all the pain I am having in my back and everything and hope she will see about getting him out of me soon,but I am not sure if she will. I have been in the hospital about four times with false contractions,and have alot of symptoms that labor is near. Could she induce or schedule c-section soon?

I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago. I found out I have developed Type II last summer. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and already went through the glucose 1 hour and 3 hour testing early on in my pregnancy, around 13 weeks or so. I failed the 1 hour, and passed the 3 hour with flying colors. I go this friday for my 3 hour test. My doctor told me to just skip over the 1 hour and straight to the 3 hour. My regular numbers that i've been taking with my meter have been extremely high. Has anyone passed their 3 hour test with having Type II? I'm afraid that this is going to be Gestational Diabetes again. I'm finding it harder and harder to control my sugar levels the further I get into my pregnancy. I had my Type II under total control before I got pregnant.

I am 28weeks (and some change) and I am huge! I have gained 32lbs and I am all belly. The doctor that checked me yesterday said they baby responds to my actions hich they usely can't do untill further along. Everyone askes me if I'm having a boy (which I'm not -Its a girl-) or they ask if I'm towards the end. The baby is extremely low and I'm extremely huge!
Could I be further along?? Should they check at my next appointment?
