Pregnancy - September 2006

I have a splitting headache and I can't really function right now. Someone just gave me extra strength acetaminophen to take and now I'm concerned that I'm not suppose to be taking it.

I'm 5 weeks in my first trimester. Help!

Okay this isnt a direct pregnancy question but I thought pregnant women would understand more then anyone. I am 10 weeks pregnant, I quit smoking as soon as I found out. My fiancee still smokes though and now it grosses me out to kiss him! His breath smells sooo bad...I never noticed before. I think me being pregnant makes the smell worse.
no smart *** answers please.
I know this is a silly question but I really love him, and we are getting married saturday, any suggestions?

I was wondering if I am pregnant . I have had my period but it was a light color pink it did turn red for a day but then pink again and then brown for 2 or 3 days . I started about 2 ½ weeks early . I have been getting worm having mod swings and headaches and lower back pain along with some other symptom such as being light headed . I have the flu now but I feel like throwing up . the flu is not that bas just a minor sore throat . Could I be pregnant : NOTE: I can't get a pregnancy test because I live in a small town with no stores as will I was going to go to the doctor but I have to wait at least another few weeks .

I do have a long torso, and I know my uterus is growing the way it should. But, I still can't help but worry about not looking like I'm 6months pregnant. He moves all the time, and they're really strong movements that go from my pubic line up past my belly button, and then sometimes he moves along my sides. Does he have enough room in there if my tummy isn't sticking way out? I do look pregnant just not 6months. Will I eventually pop out? Thanks

I am 33 weeks pregnant as of today. For the last couple of days i have been having problems staying asleep durning the night. I wack up all durning the night because with lower back pain and pain that hits the middle of my back. I try not to nap in the day because then it will throw off my sleep. Any suggestions how i can sleep durning the night and get rid of the back pain?

Im late for my period, and I just took a Clear Blue Easy Digital pregnancy test. It said Not Pregnant. So im thinking, ok, yeaaa!! But I went and ejected the test stick, and to my suprise, it had a strong blue line, and another clearly faint line. Does that mean anything? Or Im just too worried?

The doctor said he will check in 3 more weeks and if he doesnt turn than he will try to externally turn him and if he can't turn him than I will have to have a C-section... Does it hurt for the doctor to turn him?

No amount of sleep (though with a newborn nobody really gets much sleep), no amount of food, and no amount of water helped. I was very weak. My 8 pound baby felt like holding 80 pounds. Walking from the couch to the bathroom (about 10 feet) was like walking 10 miles. Holding a simple conversation was like solving difficult math problems. This lasted for about a month then I slowly regained my strength and eating and drinking felt normal again. I feel completely normal now but has anyone experienced this?

When i fell i landed over the bars on the tub for the shower doors. i got a bruise on my stomach but the baby still moves normally but now i noticed i have been swelling alot lately could i have done some thing when i fell that could be causing this to happen?

I know this sounds silly, but I'm 4 months pregnant...my DH and I have been married for a year, together for 5 yearsbut the problem is I am afraid to tell my mother and father...my mother has said to me and others on several occassions that DH and I are not ready for a baby our dog is enough...we (me especially) don't have the patience...of course I know this is not true! The other thing is that I am an only child...and I think for them once I got preggers, my being a baby to them was OVER! But does anyone have any advice on how to tell my overprotective and worrisome parents...I am so afraid and everyone in DH's family knows and are constantly pressuring me to tell, which I know I have to, but I am terrified!....thanks for your help!

I am almost 40 wks preg. (on 9/20) and While at my weekly visit yesterday they noticed I had protien in my urine & elevated BP (also headaches & vision disturbance) - so they did blood work & it came back that I have PREECLAMPSIA. Therefore, if I don't labor between today & tomorrow they have me scheduled for a C-SEC on thursday morning. Has anyone been diagnosed w/this late in pregnancy & what has been your experience & outcomes for both yourself & the baby. I guess I'm just a little scared/nervous cuz I wasn't expecting this ... thanks for your answers.
