Ella is a gorgeous name, but Faith is kind of overdone. You could do Ella Lane, but to break up the "la-la" sound, you could grace your daughter with two middle names, maybe making her Ella Katherine Lane or Ella Lane Rosemary.

When I heard Abby Lane the first thing that came to mind was "Abby Road". I love the name Ella but Faith is too common and becoming cheesy. How about Ella Sydney or Ella Madelyn?

Abby Lane is too much like Abby Road from the Beatles. If you're cool with that relation, that's fine, but why not Ella Lane?

Abby Lane sounds like the place the Beatles recorded their albums, sorry that was Abby Road. Easy to confuse the two. I love Ella Faith.

Abby Lane reminds me of this shop where pot heads go to buy their pipes and rolling papers here in town called Abbey Road.

Ella Faith is pretty. Faith is a pretty mainstream name but Ella Lane kinda runs together too much.

So, I think Ella Faith is the best.

My vote is for Abby Lane. My eldest daughter is named Abigail (Abby for short) & my cousin's middle name is Lane. I like the old traditional names that aren't often used anymore. Hey, but that's just me. You have to go with what you like (& that sounds half-way decent with your last name).
When my baby sister was born back in 1981, there was a little boy in the nursey with her named Wolfgang. I know to each his own, but please don't give your kids names that are going to get them beat up when they get older just to honor some heritage or family tradition!!!
