I'm 37.3 weeks pregnant and I was told that it may not be visible when my tummy drops because my baby is big. My OB told me that the baby still descends into the birth canal but,I may not be able to see it according to the position of my belly. So far his head is really low and my stomach still looks as high as it did months ago! I guess everyone is different depending on personal factors associated. Hope that helps! All the best to you!

Yes a pregnant woman's tunny does drop, it's the baby dropping into the birth canal, getting into the delivery position, getting ready for her big day. A baby will not drop into the birth canal if it's breach though.

Yes your stomach will drop because that means that the babies head is engaged and is a sign to say that you are nearly ready to give birth!

Yes it is the baby dropping into the birth canal. It does not hurt but it can be uncomfortable and you usually want to pee more. And walking can become a battle.

Good luck and a happy confinement! xx
