Hi, I had my bikini line waxed, a couple of weeks before I was due, as I decided that it if I was going to have midwife/doctors looking down there whilst I gave birth, that it should be in order!! I did have it done proffesionally and it did hurt more than usual. Apparently its because you have more hormones in your body. Hope this helps, and good luck with everything..

I am a quilfied therapist and also pregnant and just had mine done. So yes you can it is a little more painful and i suggest to take a couple of paracetomol before hand they can work a treat. But book with some one quilfied in a salon, dont get you best mate to it that could end up as a disaster. Speak to your therapist about the waxes they use as you can get them with aloe vera in which is nice and soothing cherry gel wax which is also nice too. At the end of the day your the client and you need to feel secure and at ease when having it done.
hope that helps

I'm pregnant and have mine done, however i always have done in the past... Go to a proffesional as if you are not used to having it done then during pregnancy may not be the best time to start as your body is more sensitive and you might have a reaction to the wax!!!

Absolutely, i am a professional waxer and have many women coming for their bikini line wax just before they are due, so long as you feel comfortable and confident with your therapist there is know reason that i can think of that you cant have it done.

I have been told not to get waxed when you have your period and I can only presume its the same when your pregnant. Its more painful due to the increase in hormones.
Why don't you get a bikini trimmer, they are sold in boots, superdrug etc. One you can do it yourself in a mirror, if you wanted and two it won't hurt a bit!!!!
You could even do shapes or pattens!!! lol

of course though you may need a hand as it'll be tricky there are no nasty chemicals in the wax either so your baby will be safe too ask a close friend or book at a salon they'll be completelt proffessional about it so there's no need to be embarrassed

Of course, but the problem is you can't see what your doing very easily. You may need to go to a salon to get it done by a pro

yes you can although it can be more painful than usual.
It is very common as we women don't want to be overgrown down there with all those doctors looking at us (although when I was in labour I didn't care what I looked like!!)
