Pregnancy - September 2006

I am on birth control. I just had my period, I cramped worse than normal, and I should have stopped bleeding Saturday, however I am still spotting/bleeding a little. I've had a lot of headaches (not sure if that matters) and I am still cramping badly. Is this maybe a sign of a miscariage? Is a miscariage possible when you are on the pill? What do I do about it if it was a miscariage? THANKS!

i have a lot of cm.. it's very thick and lotiony.. my breasts are sore too.. buts its only been about 4 days past ovulation. i dont have any bloating or cramps.. this morning i was feeling hot, and now im cold.. does that have anything to do with pregnancy? i dunno.. i klnow that i have to wait.. but theres no harm in asking questions right??

I am hoping to get pregnant with my first child soon.

I am at a healthy weight now and very physically active.

If I walk daily and eat very healthy while pregnant would I gain tons of weight? I plan to eat 300 extra calories in the second and third trimesters as recommended. (Or more if my doctor says so.)

I don't mind gaining weight for my pregnancy, I just don't want to gain more than 30-40 lbs.

A friend of mine gained 70 pounds during her pregnancy, and it was not water weight! I guess it just kind of scared me. That can't be healthy for the mom or baby.

How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?

Any advice?

I've had some really funny feelings this month, and now even though I'm on the pill I've noticed some very light spotting for the past three days. Is there any way to determine if this is just regular spotting? Previously I have only spotted within a day or two of my period (that I've noticed). Also, how soon after "implantation bleeding" would a pregnancy test be effective? Of course, I always get worked up and nervous when I feel "funny" during the month. I don't want to do anything permanent, in case I want children in the future, but I'm definitely not mentally or finanancially ready for children right now. Thanks in advance for answers.

Im 23 years i been married for 2 years and been with my husband for 8 years. when we got married I got pregnant right away. the baby is know 22 months and my husband wants me to have another baby. he wants me to get pregnant before this year ends. Well I had sex with my boyfriend roughly 1-2 weeks ago. We were having protected sex, as usual. Unfortunately, the condom had ripped. He had not yet ejaculated but there had been precum.

My period was due in the following week but it was late by 3 days. When I had received my period, it was a few spots of dark red, followed by cramps.

Is this a sign of pregnancy or am I worrying too much?

I like a boy in school but he's got a girlfriend. He talks to me in class alot, and when i forget to do my homework he asks me if i want to copy his. I am currently pregnant with twins (found out at 7 weeks) and am now 9 weeks. Are the chances high that I will lose one of them? I don't go back to the doc until October 9th and i'm worried that when I go back and get an u/s there will only be one baby. I know this sounds silly, but my work days suck! I am guessing it has something to do with the amount of sleep I get? I dont know but I wake up at 6 to go to work and I am always so nauseus...I try to eat but usually cant and it seems to linger all day. But on weekends, it is very rare for me to feel sick and I can eat what I want. Any tips for making my work sickness go away? or why it happens this way?
