It could be that you are busy during the day and don't notice as much, but when you lay down still you can feel everything. Or you might end up with a night owl LOL. Congrats and good luck!

Usually if you are moving around you won't feel the baby as strongly or maybe not at all if you are busy. Also, your movement may be rocking the baby to sleep. When you are still you are more focused on the baby's movement and also the baby will become more active when it's awake. Maybe shes getting you ready for those late night feedings. lol

it could be you are just moving around so much during thhe day that you do not feel her, try lying down on the couch and drink cold water you should feel the baby then. I am 38 weeks and my baby is most active at night as well . everything is fine with her I have had the picture perfect pregnancy

Your baby might just be a 'night person'. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as the pediatrician says that it's okay. My son was moving very little during the day but quite a bit at nighttime and he is very healthy!

My doctor told me that babies are most active at nightime. I remember when I was hospitalized the lady next to me was 30 weeks and they were monitoring her baby and she moved the most after 5pm in the daytime she didnt move much.

My 9 month old didn't move much, but when he did, HE REALLY DID CART WHEELS IN THERE!!!! He could almost go all day when i was at work without moving. Usually babies don't move when you are moving, and when you sit down or lie down, they move more. Once, he went 12 hours without me feeling him move, which scared me to death and rushed me to the ER, but everything was OK, and still is.
If you are concerned consult your gynecologist
Good luck

This is common. My daughter was the very same way. Baby's like movement...picture it almost like you are rocking or swaying them to sleep...so once you sit down to rest or lay down to go to sleep baby wakes up!

She likes motion so the busier you are the happier she is. Once you settle down the baby makes up for it herself. No need to worry, it is normal.
