No,
I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks.
I never once had a headache or menstrual cramps when I started to bleed.
I went to the doctor and they did a vaginal exam to see the baby and there was no heartbeat. I had just started bleeding a day before I went to the doctor.
That night, I had a miscarriage. I felt a little pressure almost like I had to go to the bathroom. I sat down on the toilet and I heard this Plop sound. I was confused and got up and looked into the toilet. It was my baby that had come out. It was a round ball the size of a Quarter. It was the sac that the baby is in. You couldn't see the baby in the sac. I called my doctor and brought my baby into the office in a little bowl with a lid. He did another vaginal exam and the baby was gone.
I started to bleed just like you would when you get a normal period.
I was so upset with the doctor because when I had gone in before and was bleeding, he didn't even warn me that I could miscarry. I wasn't prepared for it to actually happen. I mean, I was concerned but the doctor didn't seem concerned.
I lost my baby at 6 weeks.

headaches are a common symptom of early pregnancy! It can be a sign of a miscarriage, but it's very rare!! As long as you don't have heavy bleeding or severe cramps, you should be fine!! Take some tylenol, drink some fluids, and get some rest and you should be fine!! It may be a hunger headache, but you should be ok!

"Mainly" women?--who else is there?
Headaches in pregnancy and during womens menstrual cycle are related to the chemical/hormonal changes in the body and not an indication or contributing factor to miscarriage.

no, its a common pregnancy complaint, but its not a factor. Miscarriage in the first trimester is usually of an undetermined cause, usually a defect in the developing fetus

in the beginning headaches are very common. i bet for the first 3-4 months i had a headache everyday. and i can tell you that it is very normal. but if you are still scared call your doc/nurse and ask. my doc told me headaches were just part of pregnancy but if it turned into migraines to call him right away.
hope this helps you out.

No not necessarily. If you are having constant headaches you should talk to your doctor about it. Lots of things can cause headaches and the two can be totally unrelated.

No, but it could indicate bad eyesight or high blood pressure, get them both checked please for the sake of your child and it's coming birth.
I would think it is only women, I don't think it would be a man.
