I am on birth control. I just had my period, I cramped worse than normal, and I should have stopped bleeding Saturday, however I am still spotting/bleeding a little. I've had a lot of headaches (not sure if that matters) and I am still cramping badly. Is this maybe a sign of a miscariage? Is a miscariage possible when you are on the pill? What do I do about it if it was a miscariage? THANKS!

there isnt really a lot you can do if it is a miscariage but go to the doctor.as iv never been on the pill myself i wouldnt know for sure but as it is posible to end up pregnant even if your on the pill then i would assume you could still have a miscariage, but it could just be a bad period, but go to the Dr. to make sure your ok and find out whats causing this to happen.

i don't wanna be those ppl on here that say go to the doctor all the time but there are one of those times you don't mess with my aunt miscarried and if you don't get the whole thing out than you can get really sick and then they have to do surgery! but it could just be a period that is real bad too.. think about this and then decide. did you have sex while you ovulated? was it protected sex? are you on BC? and figure out when you ovulated so than you can see if there is a chance you were pregnant! but i would at least talk to a doctor! hope all goes well

It is still possible to get pregnant while on the pill, so it is possible that you could be miscarrying. Or it could be that you are having a heavier than normal period!
