It probably does have to do with your sleep patterns. If I get up too early, my stomach isn't right, and I'm not even pregnant!
Also, for me it helps my stomach to not eat when I'm up early. But for pregnant women, you might have to eat something to settle your stomach. I would stick with gentle food like milk or fruit.

You are right about your sleep amount. During my pregnancy I use to get sick when I woke early for work too. You are tired and dragging all day feeling sick.
The remedy is easier said than done especially if you have other kids or a busy schedule. Get to bed an hour or two earlier the night before. You will wake up more refreshed and less nauseated.
Dont worry if you are sick a day or two as long as you are eating well the other days and taking your vitamins your baby will be getting the proper nutrients to grow.
Good Luck and God Bless.

It might be because you get up earlier when you go to work. But you are lucky because i have morning sickness 24/7, it doesnt matter if its a weekday at work or a weekend at home i have morning sickness, but hang in there for most women it only lasts through the first trimester. Good luck!

It is just probably your time of day to be sick. With my first pregnancy I had the opposite problem. I was fine all day at work, and like clockwork every day, right when I was getting off the train to go home I would be sick from that point till I went to sleep. This time around thankfully I was not working since I was sick all day every day.

Before you go to bed try eating some toast or saltine crackers. Sometimes it helps to have something in your stomach and that will avert the nausea in the morning. Your nausea could also be caused by something at work - like maybe a certain smell.

i experienced the same thing!!!!
first, morning sickness is worse when you don't get enough sleep. so try to get extra zzzs by going to bed early the night before work.
second, walking is a great cure for morning sickness. if you're stuck at a desk all day and unable to move around, it'll make your morning sickness worse. try taking a break for a short walk around the room whenever you start to feel sick - it worked for me!
good luck and remember... this will pass!!

make sure you have breakfast bars, snack bars, candy bars, fruit-grapes are really good because they're small and you can chew them quickly-or crackers that you can take with you to work. it doesn't have to be a big meal, just something in your tummy. there also might be something at work that you don't have at home, an UFO-o standing for odor-that might be setting you off. my midwife and my ob/gyn's have all said to consider yourself a cow for the next 9 mos, graze, graze, graze. which, if you're nursing after wards gets funnier, lol.

My gynecologist recommends eating protein for nauseousness. I've never tried it because I don't have any pregnancy symptoms besides back pain. My baby is due in one and a half months.

Try to keep some crackers by the side of your bed, that should help at least get something into you.
