It's okay to fish. It is not okay to consume large amounts of fish that contain mercury. Maybe they were confusing the two?

I did a lot of fishing when I was pregnant just be extra careful to protect your sun. Pregnant women are especially sun-sensitive because of increased estrogen levels that stimulate the production of melanin. I got a really bad burn that blistered when I was pregnant. Wear something light but covering, a hat that will shade your face and drink plenty of water. Good Luck!!

You are sitted almost all the time, try to ask for help when you catch a big fish, but the rest is the regular activity that a pregnant woman can do.

I can't see why not. Just don't eat too much fish while pregnant. But fishing should be fine. Just be careful not to fall.

yes actually it is very safe to go fishing while you're pregnant i've been a few times myself it didn't hurt me so don't worry its ok i'm almost 4 months fishing is fun lol

Had your ancestors and their ancestors not fished while pregnant, it is quite likely that neither you nor I would be here to discuss the topic. It constantly amazes me the sheer numbers of modern urban myths that constantly crop up regarding pregnancy.

no, it'll make your baby be born with his epidermis exposed. Most likely he will be naked also, but that's not from fishing, that comes from taking to many baths

I don't see why not. It has non to do with pregnacy, please. Or is it that you may come up with a baby-fish figure? Superstitious.
