Pregnancy - September 2006

Im 25 weeks pregnant and went to the bathroom lastnight and lost my mucus plug, with my daughter I lost it about a month befor she was born, but now it is being accompanied by really bad hip pain and period like pains, little man is still moving around though, should I be concerned?

Okay, I've been wanting a baby, but my husband's not ready yet. He says that he thinks he will be in a couple of years. I'm trying really, really hard to be patient, but all I can think about is us having our first child. I'm trying to keep myself occupied but it's not helping.

We have two dogs, I'm going to school (I'll graduate next year with my Bachelor's degree), I work full time, I'm active in church, and I do independent research.

He's going to get a new job soon, so I won't have to work and we'll still have a great income. We've sat down and wrote out financial plans (to save for the baby), get a college fund started, and I've been working on my health. After I graduate I'm going to get into an "all online" graduate school program so if he does want to have the baby a little earlier than we're planning, I'll still be able to stay at home.

I'm still having trouble waiting...what can I do? I don't want to seem like I'm sad to him, it's not fair to him...

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and producing tremendous gas and loud farts all day. Am I the only one with such an embarrasing problem ? Will this affect my baby in any way ?

How long did it take until the baby came? What was it like when you checked into the hospital? Please tell me any info. I want to know what to expect. Any tips? I'm 39 weeks and my doctor told me to check into the hospital TODAY and she will try to induce me. What do I expect? I know I should have asked her more questions but I was in shock when she told me and excited so I couldn't really think at the time, she just told me yesterday. Any personal experiences would help! Anything that would help to ease my curiosity and nervousness would be GREATLY Appreciated! If your interested in points I will be picking the best answer for an extra 10 points today.

Im Pregnat... and my boyfriend has left me qithout no reason .... he is no one to call me and see how im doing .. im doing really bad and sick ... Our hospital like many now in the UK won't reveal the sex of the baby which is fair enough. I wondered if it is possible to look out for anything in the ultra scan (12wk?) and photographs which is an indicator. ( I thought it was bone that showed up most so that would rule out little penises!). We are not bothered either way and just want a healthy baby but I can't help being a bit curious and having a guess before it is born.

I've been having pain in my ovaries for 3 days now - is this normal?

They aren't quite the same as period pains...

I've also had an infection of my urinary tract, so it could be to do with that, but the pain is more toward the sides (ovaries) ,than my bladder.
