I don't think they have the right to do that, as long as you are eating properly and gaining the recommend weight there should be no reason you can't go to meetings how rude to be dropped like that.

never heard of this and i'm not that familiar with weight watchers....however, it kind of makes sense.
weight watchers is for people to diet and eat properly to LOSE weight.
if you are pregnant, then they may not want the liability of you still attending meetings and feeling the group's goal to lose wieght while you should be gaining weight.

weight watchers and pregnancy just don't seem to go well together.

#1 Why on earth would anyone want to eat food that may help you to lose weight, but, has so many chemicals in it, that you could years later die from this diet... Or get cancer from the same chemicals that kill "Lab-Rats"???? #2 Why on earth would a Pregnant woman want to put their unborn child through a diet program, anyway??? Dah-heart!!! Thats cruelty !! She shouldn't even have gotten pregnant,in the first place,if she's too "Selfish" to care enough about her baby's well-being!!! Sounds like someone's got some issues, desperate ones with losing weight!! If you wanted to lose weight so bad, why did you go and get pregnant? Makes no sense to me!! Its either be "Healthy" for your unborn child, or go on a diet, and dont get pregnant in the first place!! One or the other, but, you have to think about that baby now... forget about that diet, if you want a "Healthy" baby, that is..... Otherwise, I feel so sorry, for your baby!!!!

You should stop dieting now that you are pregnant, your body needs all the right nutrients to build your baby. Eat a healthy balanced diet and do some swimming. But your midwife should give you advice on healthy eating during pregnancy.

I think they should because those calorie restrictions are not enough for the baby. I am always on weight watchers but I am not staying on it during my pregnancy. They are not doctors and should not be advising you on the dietary needs during pregnancy

I'm sure they probably can. You're not supposed to limit your fat intake when you are pregnant. You can watch what you eat, and substitute healty items for unhealthy ones, but any doctor will tell you to stop dieting when you're pregnant. I'm sure they're trying to avoid some kind of lawsuit if your baby were to turn out unhealthy.

I don't know if they can tell you that you can't come back but they would probably recommend it because if your pregnant your body needs extra calories you shouldn't be restricting them. But as far as telling you you can't come back i don't know. Why not just stop until after the baby is born? Either way good luck.

They say that you can't join if you are pregnant...but get yourself a Dr's note that its ok to stay on their program. They just don't want to be responsible if something goes wrong

I'm not sure since you have to pay for it...but I'm sure it has to do with nutrition since pregnancy is not a good time to be cutting calories....good luck.
