I had high fever for two days for which I took paracetamol since then I have been coughing .I didn't take anything for cough as I thought it better to avoid any medicines as far as I can as they will circulate through my baby too. Now its been 10 days but the cough is not going.

do you think my sister is pregnant ..?? her last period started on the 17th of August..and yesturday she was suppose to get it and she was complaining about her boobs being sore....when you touch the nipple part she says and everything else feels the same...see i dont know if she is or not because i never had that problem when i was and i had my daughter 3 weeks ago...and so yeahh i never felt what shes feeling so could she be pregnant or no????we really need your advice thanks!!....and if your going to be negative dont bother answering ok..

My midwife is giving me a really hard time about gaining weight. I'm 26 weeks and have put on 9 kg (19.8lbs). But I'm eating healthily and all tests show baby is growing fine. She has told me to cut out bread, potatoes, pasta and even to be careful of grapes and bananas cos they are fattening fruits...! What do you think of this advice? She also suggested too much weight gain could lead to pre-eclampsia. Are they connected?

This is my first baby so i am bit scared about labor. I would like to know how soon should i ask for an epidural, i wont know how much i am dialted until i get to the hospital but just to get some idea how far along can you really tolerate the pain 4-5cm???? or more?? Also when water breaks do you have time to shower and then get to the hospital , i wouldnt wanna be all dirty when going into labor. Also hwo soon can you shower after labor, right away or do u have to wait. sorry lots of questions but this is my frist time
so i really need everyone to help me with this please. Anyone wanna add anything please feel free to do so, anything that i should know other than this. Thanx all :)

well its been almost 8 months since i gave birth to my beautiful daughter. But the problem is that i have been having really bad leg problems since right after my pregnancy. Right after my pregnancy it was so hard for me to walk. it was so hard to move my legs. but the doctors said it was because my body had to get back to normal from the stretching inside my body. Well, i guess meaning that when you give birth to a baby your body inside stretches. The doctors told me that the pain would go away, but it hasent. The pain is mostly in my right leg and sometimes its so hard for me to walk. I was gonna go to the doctor but i switched my medical insurance so i havent gone yet. I would like to get opinions. I had got an epidural but sometimes i think the pain came from being young when i gave birth to my daughter which i was 18 or that i didnt exercise birthing methods while i was pregnant. someone help me. serious answers please.

My husband and I are thinking we want another baby. My tubes are tied(almost three years ago) and I don't know how the did it. Do you still have eggs when the tubes are tied? But any way I heard that you can have your egg and his sperm put together and implanted in the uterus, is this true? Or can I just have them untied and do it the old fashion way?

I know the people asking that question are just curious but when you type in what you want to ask, bars beneath the question pop up showing you that this question has already been asked, why don't they or you just click on that and read the responses from previous people asking the same exact question. Well I know I am supposed to have pain-I have a big baby in there! But, I'm having pain inside of my vagina and was wondering what this pain could be? I also have pain in my "bottom" and feel like i need to go to the restroom..But when I go, nothing happens!! I have the urge to PUSH! but, when i try, it hurts..

I was also wondering..When you dialate-can you feel it? I was thinking maybe that was the pain i was having(besides his head pushing down) but no one seems to be able to answer this question for me..please help! thanks!!

about 2 or 3 days ago.....she didnt go to the hospital or anything...will she be ok? she had an abortion 3 months previous of the miscarrage; NOT a personal choice though..the doctors told her that her cervix had abnormal cells about 2 months ago....could this be the reason why she miscarried?

If you take birth control pills a few hours late for about a week or two can it cause you to ovulate and get pregnant if you have sex? I'm not worried because me and my husband are going to be trying for a baby soon, but I was just curious to see if it's possible.

About a week ago, I started cramping, that same day I bleed but it wasn't time for my period, I bleed medium to lite for about 4 days. My period was due in a week, I went threw all the normal cramping.. When my period finnally came, it came real light, and hardly no cramping to none, and that is not normal for me. Could this be a sign that I'm pregnant or something else? I didn't test yet, cuz I know, the hornmones doesn't show up until 1 or 3 weeks after ur missed period.

Since A few months ago my periods seemed to lighten up a little bit, not be so heavy and maybe a day or so shorter. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend from then till now also, but my periods do seem to be around the same time. I recently noticed I have gained some weight in the midsection ( drinking...or?) and have had 3 canker sores in the past 2 weeks when I have not had one in years. I looked it up and it said it was from a vitamin deficiency during pregnancy. I am always somewhat moody and tired so I cant tell if anythings changed there. Could I be a few months along and not know it?
Also, I am in my mid twenties in a commited relationship and a good job so If this is a pregnancy it would be welcomed with open arms, I just need advice until i get tested!

Why do people think it is so tragic when a young person dies, but do not care one bit if an innocent, pure baby is brutally killed inside its mother's womb? That is just as tragic to me. A mother is supossed to love her child more than anyone, yet she decides to kill it? How sad is that?
