I was overweight when I had my 3 kids but I was very active for a big girl. I hated that my huge boobs got bigger being pregnant and i think it takes a bit longer to show because your tummy already shows. I found that later in the pregnancy my soft tummy got harder firstly at the top (still softer down the bottom) then the other way around. I never suffered with any blood pressure problems and still dont (I am a grandmother now)and I delivered all 3 kids naturally. I did lose a little weight whilst pregnant but was at my largest after my 2nd baby. They say big girls have little babies well 2 of my kids were early and weighed 8lb 1oz & 7lb 6oz and my last one , a girl, weighed 9lb 2lb, I lost quite a bit of weight carrying her too. I still fluctuate up and down but not as big as I was after my 2nd baby. Good Luck and keep active and try and eat right and you will be fine I am sure.

I was and am overweight. When I got pregnant the doc said not to gain any weight. What the... I went to a different doc. Everyone I have ever talked to had the same problems that I did while preg. No one tells you it is a whole body experience.

I was/am I have had two kids and have one on the way, It hasn't effected me at all, I would imagine us overweight people get tired faster and have less energy from carrying around all the extra weight. I actually lost weght with both my pregnancies and lsot a good amount when I breastfed.

Was very depressed, didn't want my man to see me naked. Needed medication after baby was born for depression. You do loss the weight....trust me! You have to make an effort to eat better (chicken, and vegatables) but it does come off. It took me a year to loss the weight. I am preggo now again and already gained 50 pounds, not worried this time.
