You mean you are 24 weeks pregnant? If it is, it is normal. I have 4 kids and my feet swell up pretty bad. It did not go away until I give birth. Ask your doctor if he/she can help you, but I doubt it. it will go away on its own. It doesn't hurt you. You probably won't feel comfortable wearing shoes. When my feet swells, I swear size 11, and then after a few weeks after I gave birth, I went back to my normal size 9 1/2. Not only are your feet going to swell, but you will get backaches too.

If you sit at a desk, keep a stool to prop your feet on and get up and move around a little at least once an hour. Also, watch your salt intake and drink lots of water...I am 39 weeks and work in an office, mine do the same thing...AND have your husband massage your feet every night, it helps a little but mainly just a good reason to get a foot rub :)

Yes it is normal. Walk around some and then lay down with a pillow under your feet elevating them so that the fluid that has pooled can redistribute. Also, has your blood pressure been up, even a little because this is also a symptom of hypertension in pregnancy.

Yes, that is normal. Forget what your mom told you about sitting up straight (until the baby is born), sitting up straight puts more pressure on your hips causing poor circulation to your feet, that is why you are swelling. Also, get up and move around as often as you can, drink plenty water and avoid salt/salt containing foods.

you shouldn't sit all day long because that alone can cause swelling. walk for at least ten minutes every hour so that the circulation keeps flowing. if the swelling continues even after you've been walking, call ur doctor because swelling can sometimes be serious, leading to things such as gestational diabetes.

it is perfectly normal and the longer u sit the more swollen they can get, with all 3 of my children i couldn't wear shoes half the time

for one thing cut back on salt

and when u want the swelling to go down your feet needs to come up so lay back on the couch and put pillows under your feet and watch tv for a while and it will go down

It can be but make sure you are NOT getting too much salt in your diet. And make sure you watch what you eat because certain foods can trigger swelling of the feet while you are pregnant.

Swelling

It’s normal for your body to produce and retain more fluid during pregnancy, particularly during the last few months. This can cause slight swelling (called edema), particularly in the legs, feet and ankles, but also in the hands and face. This swelling may be worse towards the end of the day or during hot summer months.

Causes of Swelling During Pregnancy
Extra fluid in your body helps prepare you for pregnancy and delivery. It allows your tissues to handle the growth of your baby. It also prepares your pelvic area for labor and delivery. Extra fluids in your body account for much of the weight gained during pregnancy. You body usually get rid of them in the days after delivery.

During late pregnancy, your growing uterus puts pressure on the veins to your legs and feet. This slows blood circulation and causes even more fluid to build up in your feet and ankles. Standing or sitting with your feet on the floor for long periods of time can increase the pressure on these veins.

Swelling: What You Can Do
Some swelling, particularly in the feet and ankles, is normal during pregnancy. Here are some tips for relieving and managing this swelling:

Relieve the pressure. Put your feet up on a footstool or hassock, or lie on your side. This will relieve the pressure on the veins of your lower body and reduce the swelling. Take breaks during the day where you can sit with your feet up. While you sleep, raise your legs slightly with pillows. Don’t cross your legs when you sit. Avoid standing or sitting with your feet on the floor for long periods of time.
Stay cool. Heat can make the swelling worse. Stay cool and try not to get overheated.
Improve your circulation. Lying on your left side can help improve your circulation and reduce swelling. After long periods of sitting, take a short walk. Avoid tight clothes or jewelry that cut off the circulation at your wrists or ankles. Leg massages and supportive tights or stockings can also help improve circulation.

Do not take any medication (such as "water pills") to reduce swelling without first talking to your health care provider.
When to Talk to Your Health Care Provider
Mild swelling of the legs, hands and face is normal during pregnancy. But call your health care provider if you have severe or sudden swelling, particularly in your hands or in your face around the eyes. This could be a sign of a serious condition called preeclampsia (also called toxemia) that causes high blood pressure and fluid retention. Women with preeclampsia may experience any of the following symptoms:

Sudden or severe swelling of the hands and feet
Severe headaches
Blurred vision
Dizziness
Severe pain in the belly
Also call your health care provider if one leg is much more swollen than the other, especially if you also have pain or tenderness in your calf or thigh.

Best of Luck and congrats
