I had a girl and she was high one day and low the next. I dont believe that there is any way to tell really. Congrats on the baby!

It is not that straight forward - different people have different opinions. My opinion is boys sit more inside and you look pregnant from the back and girls sit more outside and you look all tummy from the front - mind you this is not always so either - patience is a virtue they say but these days you dont have to be patient for too long as you can find out the sex quite early now -spoils the event and the birth really - much better if you can wait till the big day and enjoy the anticipation and excitement of asking if it is a boy or a girl - old fashined maybe but nice

People say that you carry girls high and boys low, but my children were the opposite. You could not even tell that I was pregnant with my daughter. I carried her in my back. I carried my son in my ribcage, it felt like. I am not kidding when I say that my breasts touched my stomach. Because my stomach was high, not because my breasts were low.lol!
Oh, and by the way. When you get an ultrasound, don't rely completely on what sex they tell you the baby is. There was a 99% chance that my SON was a GIRL. LOL! Boy, was I surprised when I had to send my mother to the store to get him something that wasn't pink to take him home in.lol.

i had a girl and sat low but my sister had a girl and sat high so it depends on the person, the baby and the due date. Things like that are old wives tales the sex of a baby cannot make it sit high or low

Everyone I have known to ever have a boy has carried low..and girls they carry very high.. but yes it all depends on your body!! my friends who had boys,their butts got bigger, and the ones who had girls they didnt..you will carry how your body is shaped to carry it be a boy or girl doesnt matter!!

The way a woman carries a baby does't determine the gender. My MIL had three boys and carried them all differently. One low, one high, and one all around.
Just wives tales =P.

Depends on your body and how you carry every baby is different. I had two boy and a girl and the all sat different ways.

I have 2 girls, and they where very high, looked like basketballs,,lol. My son was so low I thought I would fall over.

I had two girls and I carried them both low and all infront. ^.~ I know when my sister in law had her boys (all four of them) they were all middle to high and kinda in the back, not all out in front. When my second sister in law had her boy, you could hardly tell she was full term.

I usually hear that girls sit high. I have a son and he was low I guess that is why he is so darn mean. lol
