Get one of those pillows with a back and two little side pieces. Sit up in the pillow and you will sleep fine.

I'm not really sure how to answer this seeing you really didn't give much information to go on. What exactly is keeping you from sleep? Do you ache? Can you just not get comfortable?
I was going to recommend Melatonin (natural) to help you sleep, but I googled it and everything I've found says it's not safe for pregnancy. So.. there goes that.
Try getting in a lot of excersize during the day, so you'll be sleepy at night. Walking, etc.
My friend had this same problem her entire pregnancy (just had her baby 2 weeks ago) and as far as I know, the only thing that helped her sleep is getting into a recliner and lying it back.
Sex is also a great way to relax before sleep.
A hot bath/shower before bed maybe? Warm milk?
And last but not least, talk to your doctor and tell him/her the problem. Sometimes you have to make a big deal about things like this for them to really listen but you NEED your rest right now.
Make sure to tell them all the things you've done to try to help you sleep so they don't give you one of the same answers and dismiss it.
Good luck to you and congratulations on the baby.

MELATONIN. I know that when I was pregnant, the doctor at the hospital suggested sleeping pills, but that was because I was in false labor at 39 weeks. I would think because I was so far along that is the only reason he suggested it. However, I do know there are "natural" supplements to help your body sleep. I believe they are called Melatonin, but I do not know the conditions if you are pregnant. Might want to check it out...

I really don't want to put a damper on your pregnancy but I had exactly the same thing! I had such bad insomnia, I cried almost every night! Nothing worked for me and I suggest not to take any medication because it can be harmful to your unborn baby. I really feel for you but look on the bright side, when baby comes your sleeping pattern will return to normal. (just pray for a good baby)
