i am also trying to conceive but everytime we have sex a few days later i will start to bleed why? please help me...

Alot of people had told me that if you have sex you could go into labor because of a horbmone in the semen. Anyway, I did and right afterwards I started getting contractions but they were at different times. Never consistent. Anyway I was already 39 weeks and the following day I had my check-up at the clinic. When I got there everything was fine I was sitting there bare-bottomed waiting for the DR to go in when all of a sudden my water broke right there on the table. It was really embarrassing but a few hours later I had my beautiful baby girl. Tell me your story!

not sure if anyone could help,my son got weighed 3 months ago and was 18 pound,got weighed yesterday and dropped to 16.im very worried about this and have searched around for reasons baby lose weight if they still eat alright,on ething i have seen is baby diabeties,the more i think about it the more i notice the commoniss he has with it,he needs changing every hour due to the ammount he drinks,when he was born he weighed 10 pound)his nan,gran,uncle,and cousins .grandad all have diabeties,also when he was born he couldnt control is body temperature.do you think he could have it?he has a doc app on friday to be checked but im worried sick and need to no something

Yesterday I saw a young woman, maybe even late teens and probably 7 months pregnant. She was smoking and then she got in a truck with a guy (boyfriend/husband/friend?) and didn't put on her seat belt and he was squealing his tires and messing around (and she still had the smoke in her mouth). Why can't women take care of themselves when they are pregnant??? Also, the other thing that really gets to me is a family in a car, windows all up and kids in the back. The parents are in the front puffing away. Why isn't this illegal?????? It is abuse and negligence pure and simple.

Anybody else agree???

i'm male and frequently wet the bed from about 5 - to about 11! i had horrible night-mares in which i urinated! i stopped at about the time i began to have nocturnal erections (it's hard to go with an erection) which woke me up.
my bed wetting began when the dreadful fear of my abusive/frightening dad took hold. it seems that i spent my entire early childhood SCARD TO DEATH OF MY PARENTS. the horrible tensions of our everyday life was relieved in sleep when i'd wet - often several times a night! the rubber sheets, spankings, diet restrictions, self-hate, discomfort, etc. was mind boggling.

there's much more to this but i'd like to suggest that, if your kid is wetting, you might consider the kid's emotional/psychological condition (especially FEARS) along with genetic/physical causes. i know that you, like my parents, don't want to ever admit that YOU ARE THE CAUSE of your kid's reactions/behavior but YOU ARE for the most part! so, do somethng about your parenting!

I'm going to be having a baby shower(after baby is born) fairly soon, and I want it to be a personal and fun experience. I have thought of having those m&m's that say it's a boy or it's a girl (we are waiting to find out the gender) and pacifier candy etc. Any ideas or themes would be fabulous... want to stay away from over-done themes like whinnie the poo and disney collections.

To suggest some type of hypocrisy if you are against abortion and for capital punishment. Unborn children are innocent and haven't hurt anyone. Murderers are not and they should be taken out of our society and put to death as punishment for the taking the life of someone else.

I have been seeing some debates recently about letting your child entertain themselves so as they do not depend on you as they get bigger & can do stuff for themselves when they get bored. Some people were saying that if *you* provide the entertainment all the time that they will come to depend on the fact that they can sit back & let the world entertain them, never learning how to play "pretend" or work with what they have. Others were saying that if you do not stimulate your child, it will lead to a slower development & they will feel neglected. What's your opinion & what age (if you think they should entertain themselves) do you think parents should start letting them do so?

My Sister and her husband live with our father and stepmother.They have 2 children.They work very hard, and are able to provide their children with everything they need-except a house.They live in the northeast where housing prices are through the roof.They moved up there on the offer of my father,who wanted them to save up enough money to get their own place.They both work full time and my sister goes to school.Then yesterday my stepmother said to my sis that they were thinking of taking the kids for a couple years so that she and her husband could just work all the time until they get a place they can afford.When my sister got upset, my stepmom said it was just a thought and she would only do it if it were mutual.Then she said,"If your father wanted to take you to court and take them,there would be nothing you could do about it,so don't worry about it anyway."My stepmom's not always truthful with any of us and we're starting to think they may be planning to get them. My sister lives with her boyfriend at boyfriend's mother's house,while they await a council place;boyfriend is a druggie.They have a 14-month-old girl who is lovely.I'm worried about her welfare though.I suspect my sister is taking some form of drugs,and I'm very worried.They owe loads of money to debt agencies.What should I do?

I have switched birthcontrol pills about 2.5 months ago, and 2 weeks ago I had my period, and I am not going to get it til after next week. Last night before going to bed I went to pee, when I got up I heard something drop into the water, I turned around and I saw what looked like a red wire that was about 0.5 inch long, and something that looked like a waterdrop shape floating. I scooped it with a tissue, it had two dots, and like a dark purple line on its back, and it had what it looks like flaps. I think its just some blood so I flushed it down the toilet. Later I went online, and it looked like those early stage fetus. I don't know hard to say. What do you think, do I still have to go to the doctor about this situation, but I feel fine, no pain.

my son passed away last june the doctors said he would still be alive if he didnt have psudomonus its an infection in the tract tube he was born premature. they found he had it on june 9th of 2005. they gave him anitbiotics and never tested him again for it. do u think that they should have tested him again after the dose of anti biotics? he passed away on june 26th 2006 from that . should i concider a lawsuit what do u think ?
