I went to the doctors yesterday for cramping and blood clots...the doctor said I am / did have a miscarriage..I'm really freaked out...she gave me some meds to take and cleaned me up...she told me to come back when the bleeding is completely finished...It just seems weird that she would send me home...Is that normal??I still have the cramping and of course bleeding...any advice???

My daughter was born at 32 weeks, not intubated and seems healthy now physically. Can these children suffer psychologically from the lack of physical contact from being in an incubator for several weeks?

I mean, honestly, is it just me or is there an abundance of extremly ignorant people having sex that shouldn't? I read questions about "can i get pregnant from swallowing semen" to "did my girlfriend have a miscarriage out of her rear end".. Am i wrong in thinking that if you dont understand the mechanics of sex and pregnancy, then you shouldnt be having sex in the first place??

Adoption is not a cheap process, obviously you don't realize that to say that if I need to get financing to adopt I can't afford a child??? Hello!!! Most people don't have 20 grand just laying around as "extra" cash to throw down. If you do then more power to you, but there would be a lot of children without homes if that is your answer sir because 90 percent of the american population would not be able to "afford" adopting then! If you can't give an honest answer or help out at all then don't give an answer! My husband and I make great money, and have plenty to support a child so don't come down on me for not being able to support a child.

When my baby was 10 days old the condom my partner was wearing didnt just split it disintergrated! A locum at my surgery refused to prescribe the morning after pill because she was catholic, she even went as far as saying it was unlikely I could get pregnant so soon even though the midwife had said be very careful as you are extremely fertile just after giving birth.......... was this doctor allowed to do that?

I had a C-section because my son wasn't tolerating my labor. I know that his well-being was top priority and I am grateful for having a healthy baby. Yet oddly enough, once it was all over I couldn't help but feel this sense of let-down and disappointment that I was unable to give birth vaginally. Any one else ever feel this way?

I have stretch marks on my breast, my belly, my thighs, and my arms. How can I get rid of them? What are the different ways to do it with out breaking the bank (tight budget)?

Also I have flabby skin under my arms, my belly (I had a baby Jan 2005), and my breast SAG (they always have), how can I help this? I am trying muscle toning, but it doesn't seem to help and I am still struggling to lose the weight from when I had my daughter.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? Actually helpful and budget EASY suggestions PLEASE?

I am a 16-year-old male. Recently my aunt asked me to babysit my younger cousin (age 7) while she is at work. Since I have my driver's license, we often take daytrips to the mall or the town pool. The instance has not occured yet, but inevitably one of us will need to use the restroom during these trips. Is it appropriate for me to let her use the women's room by herself, or should I play it safe and take her into the men's room? I don't want my aunt to view me as a careless teenager, but I also don't want to violate my cousin's privacy. Any tips would be very helpful, especially from those of you who have been in simmilar situations.

Just curious, do you have children close in age or is there a gap in their age?

My daughter is 3 and we will probably wait at least another year before we try again.

Who should be invited to a baby shower - out of town people that aren't going to come - I don't want to offend by not inviting people, but I don't want to look like a plea for gifts....what about wives of my husband's friends?

I do, because it teaches them that they have to respect authority, who the main authoritative figures are in their life, it teaches them right from wrong so they'll know what to do and what not to do. I've also found that it helps tame those wild, rebellious children. I've always heard that there is a direct line from the butt to the brain in a figurative sense, and it won't kill them either. It will keep them out of prison or winding up dead someday because of the healthy respect they learn. I've seen that they also love you more for caring enough to dscipline them in the long-run.
