Why do you need financing, if you go through the County (depending which one) they will steal someone's kid and pay you to take it.

RoZ below me just made my point, move to San Diego or Riverside County in California their Social Workers are the best child stealers in the Nation.

you can try www.prosper.com and put in the amount and let people bid on it. IT is kinda like e bay for people to get personal unsecured loans.

Just be very honest about your financial situation, what the money will be used for and how you plan to make the monthly payments.

I have an HR credit rating, bc of some past medical problems, but we are homeowners and we were able to get financing through prosper. It was great, but you just have to REALLY explain your income and why you need the money. I had to relist mine a couple of times, but I did get funded after I listed it for 10 days, I was approved in 7 the last time.

Good luck,

We just adopted out foster son in March. We got him when he was 7 months old and the adoption was final just before he turned two.

You can go through your state adoption office. Either way it won't cost you at thing. At least not in California. Also we get $425 a month adoption assistance which goes up as he gets older.

If you need to borrow money to adopt, you probably aren;t in any position ot raise a child. Just my opinion.
