Adoption is not a cheap process, obviously you don't realize that to say that if I need to get financing to adopt I can't afford a child??? Hello!!! Most people don't have 20 grand just laying around as "extra" cash to throw down. If you do then more power to you, but there would be a lot of children without homes if that is your answer sir because 90 percent of the american population would not be able to "afford" adopting then! If you can't give an honest answer or help out at all then don't give an answer! My husband and I make great money, and have plenty to support a child so don't come down on me for not being able to support a child.

A lot of couples finance adoption through taking out loans and raising money through a church, raffles, garage sales...etc. When you think about the love of a child for a lifetime compared to a loan that lasts about 4yrs its well worth it.

i too am thinking of adopting: i answered your last post too :)
i don't know anyone that has ever adopted a child and we are just now looking into the process. if you would like to share information with me in regards to your process you can e-mail me: ellereeves@yahoo.com
my husband and i are even willing to adopt an international child... but we prefer to adopt a white child, as we are white. and before someone bashes me for being racist, i am not. i would want my child to not have to tell people that she was adopted unless SHE wished to reveal that... and if the child is a different nationality it would be VERY obvious in our area that she was adopted. i would just want to protect my child from the mean little children in school! what agency are you using?

I FOUND SOME INFO I WANTED TO PASS ONTO YOU:

I agree with what you said. I live in Florida and I have heard it's more like $40,000 now. I really want to adopt, but I don't have that kind of money. I've been looking at other adoption questions on here and have learned a lot. You always have your idiots, but some people on here do have some great advice.

Hi, I'm not sure what the reason is behind you posting this, but the website I have provided a link for is really helpful however far down the road towards adopting you might be. Sometimes the system is a bit unfair and frustrating, but if you really want to adopt it is worth pursuing it, as I'm sure you'll make wonderful parents.

the region with financing is that it is continuously quite and that i mean quite severe pastime. We financed our earrings in basic terms because i did not have the money excellent then and there, yet after I stated how a lot the pastime became, I paid if off with out postpone. in case you will pay it off in like the first 6 months (they frequently have pastime loose for the first couple of days) then bypass ahead. i do not reccomend doing it if it is going to take you a lengthy time period
