I had 4 children in 4 and 1/2 years. It was an exhausting time for me when they were small, but now my youngest is soon to turn 18 and all of the kids are best friends. I am glad that I had them so close as now they will be getting married and having their own children at the same time. This will further strengthen their bonds with eachother. Plus they can all take turns taking care of me when I am old (smile)

Just turned one and just turned three.
If we have another, and that's a BIG if, I think we'll wait another year.
It's great to have them close in age, and there really isn't much sibling rivalry or anything, and they're best buds, but it's hard to have two so dependent at the same time. And since the three year old is only recently reliably potty trained, that was tough, too.

My son is 6 and my daughter is 4. I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter the day after my son's first birthday. I love that they are close in age because they are close as brother and sister.

i have a 6 yr old son and a 3 yr old girl and now i am pregant with my third child so to me 3 years in between is perfect because the other one is out of diapers and when they do get older they are close enough in age where they can still play together and sort of like the same things
