I have a 10 week old and last night was the first night when he took his last feeding at 10 30pm(3 oz)and then had 2 oz at 1 45am and didnt get up until I woke him up at 6 30am to feed him. I was up from 5am in the morning wating for him to wake up but he didnt. Should I wake him up in the middle of the night to feed him or is it okay for him to sleep for 7-8 hrs at only 10 weeks old? Please help....Im a new parent and just want to make sure he is well fed! Thanks all!

Well This is just for later on not at the moment but I'm trying to figure out middle names for the first names that I have. They are the boys Joe and Stewie and the girls Nevaeh ( Heaven spelt back wards) and Angel. The last name would start with a S.

its feels almost like the baby is snoring. Is that possible? Do you have any ideas of what it might be? I'm pretty sure its not gas.

My son is almost 11 months and I do everything the doctor says to prevent ear infections. (Cover his ears outside and in the bath, dont lay him flat to drink bottles, no one smokes around him etc.) He still has an almost constant ear infection. The antibiotics clear it up for a week or so but it always comes back and it seems like it never really goes away completely. My doctor said that tubes just cause more trouble than help, but my cousin says her son got them at 4 months and its worked perfect. Does anyone have a child that has/had tubes and would you recommend them? I would really appreciate any advice.

i have been nursing for a little over a year now and i just want to give my baby some good milk. We eat very healthy and i drink soy most of the time. i just want to know if the brand STRAUS FAMILY ORGANIC whole milk is okay to give my baby. i already started weaning her of breast milk. Im just concerned because that milk tastes...i dont know.. funny??? i mean it comes with cream on the top. I mean if its better for you and baby of course, i will get use to it. its just sooooo different from "reg" milk. is there any down falls with this brand? (besides price?)

I love being an attachment parent,...... We sleep with our 15 month old in our bed, she still breastfeeds, we tend to her every need, we do not do the "cry it out", and she has turned out to be the most wonderful, outgoing, happy, easy going child.
Before she was born, I never heard of this concept before and it has worked amazingly for us.

I know they say babies all develop on their own time but I want to help her along. Some things I am interested in "getting her to do" that she is not yet doing include: rolling over...she goes to one side only, getting up on her arms (lifting chest), holding her own bottle (she tries! her hands are always on her bottle). I cant think of anything else, but whatever else an almost 4 month old baby can/should be doing will be helpful!!! ALSO...how do u play with her???? THANK YOU ALL!!

my son is 3 weeks old and when he was born i nursed him until he was almost 2 weeks and it seemed like he wasnt getting enough, so i started giving him formula every now and then like his dr told me too. he is now getting used to the bottle and eating more and everytime i nurse him its becoming very painfull. i really want to nurse him, but my nipples are really sore sometimes i feel like crying it hurts that bad, and i know if i dont nurse him my milk will dry up. should i just give him the formula and forget about nursing? this didnt happen with my first child. which they weighed different. what should i do?????

What if you have a dad that is a twin (identical) and they married twin girls (identical) and they both had twins. Would the twins look alike even though they are not brother or sister?

You all need to wake up because there used to be mercury in vaccines and it was announced, then few years later it changed. Now there is more mercury put in the vaccines today than there used to be. Read the information on the sites I list. Why have your child get a vaccine with poison in it, then 1-3 years later see if your child ends up getting Autism. The odds are increasing day by day of a child dying because of the vaccines that have mercury in them. Lets just play a game to see what the odds come out to be.Go to- calpoison.org/public/mercury. Then go to mercola.com type in What did the government know? Also look at immunizationinfo.org type in vaccine. Check out everything on those site and check the numbers of children who are getting negative results. The government just wants us to give them the shots, they dont care!

We just got approved for Medicaid. They sent us a brosure to choose a plan for health coverage. I'm so dumn in this things. Most of my friends on UnitedHealthcare of Florida. Also I'm considering Humana Family. Can you please help me with the choice, what's the difference?

And another question: on the bottom of the page it sais " free approved round trip transportation to medical appointments" with Humana Family plan. Does it mean they can give me a free ride to pediatrician or emergincy(I don't drive and my husband works a lot)?

So, im not sure what i was thinking for the past 2 months but i was almost positive my babies first round of shots came at 4 months not 2. He is 4 months tomorrow, will this throw things "outta whack" at all? i'm still obviously going to get him immunized i was just wondering if it really matters at all.
THANKS!
