babies have immature nervous systems. And feeding really is hard work for your little one. That is why they go right back to sleep! Hiccups are caused by a disruption in rhythm with the diaphragm, lungs, and trachea. Check to see if the baby is latched on correctly if breast feeding, BURP often, and enjoy the tiny little hics coming from the crib occasionally. Take it from the mom of a preschooler and a toddler....the hics will give way to giggly belches in no time. As an aside, I was told by my grandmother that in "her day" a baby hiccuping was growing. Just a cute old wives tale. Happy New Year!

All infants get the hic ups. More than once a day every day or so. When my infant got the hic ups very often I just pulled a string from her clothing and put it on her forehead and it stopped. But they get it so often because they have air bubbles in their belly trying to get out. Try giving her Myclicon. It's the safest for infants, and safe enough to be given after every feeding. Also try changing her bottles to something that reduces bubbles like Dr. Brows or Avent. You can get Mylicon from babiesrus or a pharmacy.

my daughter had this a LOT until she was 4 or 5 months old. there isnt much that can be done. just try to make sure that she is not getting air in her bottle, burp her regularly, and also offer her a little water if she has them for a long time.

hi your daughter gets hiccups because she is getting too much air when she is having a drink. make sure her bottom lip is out and her top lip is up and you can see her tongue at the side of her mouth. she shouldn't get hiccups much if you concentrate on these areas.. good luck..

abdomen Ulcers, or Peptic Ulcers as they're oftentimes noted as, do not likely burst. they're greater of a hollow or erosion interior the tummy lining. through tummy acid, they'd be very painful. I even have had ulcers when you consider that i replaced into 14 and that they suck!
