Every name I come up with I only like for two hours, or less. Anyone have any amazing first/middle combinations? Thanks

it's hard to pick a name you would like with out knowing his last name. A name can sound great until you add a last name that doesn't go well. I was told by my aunt that the best way to see if you like a name is to pick it out then yell it at least 10 times in a row, if you still like the name then add it to the list. You'll yell at your son way more then 10 times a day so you have to still like it after repeating it over and over all day long. My son is Nikolas, Nik for short, which is common but I liked it! Hunter is a good name too.

how about using a combination of both fathers or grandfathers names also be sure the name goes well with your last name and that what ever names you come up with don't conflict with the last name and you can't make up a name from the initials.i have a cousin whose initials make up the word dog.personally i like the name Shawn Patrick

I love Liberty's first 2 choices plus:
Kobe
Keagan Grant
Ashton Grant
Chanler
Channing
I guess Grant would go good with all of them really. But to go along with another person's suggestion..pick out a few that you like and then wait until you see the baby. That is what i did with my last baby (girl)!! Good Luck!

I had this problem with my son - nothing I liked was really so special that I liked it for long. So I decided to make his name someting that meant something to me and my husband. His name is Robert Anthony, named afer my grandfather (Robert) and my husband's uncle/godfather (Anthony). Not such a flashy name, but it hasn't gotten old for us because it helps us remember some people we loved who ar no longer with us.

Maybe that's not an option that will work for you, but maybe you can use the same idea - choose a name that has another special meaning for you and I'll bet that it will never get old.

Of course, once it is your son's name, it will have a special meaning all of its own! :)

Naming a baby is just about as fun as making it!!! My favorite boy names right now are Jett, Marco, Mossimo, Vincent, Oliver, Charlie.... I don't know about boy middle names because the tradition in our family is to give the son's the mother's maiden name. Maybe it might work for you.
