Gerber baby foods.
Look at their organic line of foods, they have a very good taste from a grown-up stand point.

my baby is 6 months old and JUST started infant cereal this past week. up untill now she has been exclusevly breastfed. The cereal we started her on was the Beachnut because it is all natural but of course you can get gerber organic too. Gerber tends to be cheaper though so if its price you are looking at then gerber but i like beachnut quality.

I use Del Monte naturals and Gerber. Check the labels to make sure there are no added sugars or preservatives, vitamin C is an ok one for fruit. It helps with iron absorbtion. My son didn't eat big enough servings at first to make it worth making my own baby food, I'll probably try it as he gets older. Plus, my husband and his 4 other children (from previous marriage) whom I love very much, have kind of limited taste preferences and I want to raise my son with a wider variety of food exposure that is more healthy. I'm slowly introducing the rest of the family to it, but in the meantime my son gets his variety of veggies from the jar brands. Also, try to avoid all jarred meat products. Babies don't need it before 1 year, or even older if their diets are healthy enough. Just change one diaper after they've had jar-meat and you'll know what I'm talking about--and you thought baby poop smelled bad before!!

OH---DEFINITELY Gerber. Gerber tastes like the real thing. Green beans taste like green beans, etc. Beachnut tastes AWFUL! Blech.

I alternate between 3 brands- Del Monte, Beechnut, and Gerber. My son will eat almost everything, so I've always just grabbed some of each.
We don't do any of the plain old meats, though, because those are just disgusting. He also won't eat the macaroni and cheese flavor.
He eats tons of table food, too.
