It isnt wise to switch formula unless your doctor recommends it or you are having some problems with the one your baby is using (gas/constipation etc)

It's really not a good idea to give a baby iron that doesn't need it, I mean if you have nothing else and cannot go to the store to pick up more of the babies regular formula I would say just this onetime would be ok, but if it were more than once I would say absolutely not, that could be dangerous to your baby, too much iron is worse than not enough! I have been a mom for 23 yrs. I have pretty much been through it all. LOL

Yes, you can. They're very similar.

I used to use Enfamil half of the month and Parent's Choice the other half, and we never had any problems. I think as long as it's a milk based formula you won't have any trouble with switching between the two.

yes but I wouldnt recommend frequent changes in formula so try to stick with the same type but lipil and e with iron are very similar and wont cause any adverse effects.

i would check with the doctor before doing any changes..even though its still enfimil. try to run to a 24 hr cvs, walgreens or meijers to get some formula. if you can't, then, i guess one feeding of enfamil with iron won't hurt. you shouldnt starve the baby ofcourse... hope it helps..

I'd say just be careful cause it may cause a hardening of his poop. It did this to my little niece and it was very painful for her to poop.
