I want to get a tattoo once the baby is born, but I also intend to breast feed. Has anyone hurt of it being unsafe for the baby? Or know if the ink gets into the blood stream and potentially the breast milk???

My Big Sis. And my Mom think that I should start watching my 10 month old niece,,she is great and we have a lot of fun when I play with her,,but I’ve never babysat a baby before ? And I have some freetime before clases start. I’m nervous that I’d do something wrong and she would be inconsolable. Any good tips on how to baby sit? Things I should definitely avoid?

He'll sleep great while he's sucking on the pacifier, but if it falls out he instantly wakes up and begins to cry? Is there anything I can do?

So I won't go into the whole story but the doctors office screwed up my daughters appointments and so now she will be getting her two month shots 1 day before she turns 3 months. Is this okay? Will it screw her shot schedule up? Will she still be able to get all her shots? Will they stil be effective? I am just really nervous about all this. I want her to get her shots when she should. Anyone else go through this?

I missed the first round of shots at 2 months for my baby and worried whether or not that was ok... now i'm hearing from people that 2 months is too early anyway and also some people have chosen not to immunize at all. Now, i have full intentions of getting him his shots, my question is, is it better to wait until he's a little older with a more developed immune system

I'm nowhere near pregnant, but I've noticed that everyone in my husband's family who has had a baby has formula-fed their babies from birth, and neither my husband nor his siblings were breastfed either.

I want to exclusively breastfeed my future children, but it doesn't seem to be the "done thing" in my husband's family. My husband has actually looked slightly repulsed at the mention of it. (He's an otherwise wonderfully tolerant guy.)

When the time comes, I'm afraid this might be an issue. It seems like breastfeeding is a socially unacceptable thing in his family.

The last thing I want to do is turn off my husband, but I obviously want to do the best thing for our future baby. Should I stick to my guns and do what's right when the time comes?

I've been know to jump the gun and call the doctor too soon and end up in the doctor's office 2 or 3 times for something simple. my 8 month old son is congested, coughing, and is giving the most disgusting diapers.

His bowel movements look like they are mostly water (literally). They have a very distinct odor. It's not amonia but it's a rather sick smell.

Ideas of what it could be? He doesn't have a fever and his behavior isn't indicating a problem (other than he can't sleep because of his stuffy nose). Should I call the doctor?

She's starting to teethe again and has gotten the worst diaper rash yet. I use pinxsav, because it has worked the best compared to other treatments. Besides the usual(frequent & immidiate diaper changes, thorough cleaning, etc), does anyone have any treatments or ideas that have helped them?

I was reading the side of my son's rice cereal box (he's 7 months old) and saw that it says for every 4-5 tablespoons there is 100% of his daily iron intake. Is that how much I should be feeding him? I have been feeding him about twice as much as that because he is not satisfied after only 5 tablespoons (he's 25 lbs). I'm now worried that he's getting too much iron in his system. Does anyone know how much I should be feeding him? My doctors office is closed today and I plan on calling them tomorrow to ask.
Thanks!

I love them, but seeing how he is in contact with them 90 percent of the time, I worry that he will pick up most of his verbal skills from them.
