I'm currently about 36 weeks, due December 5th. After my daughter's born I do plan to breastfeed exclusively. Are there any birth control pills that are more highly recommended for breastfeeding mom's? I'm going in for another check-up on Tueseday and will be talking to my doctor about it also.

Im 5 months along and just found out Im having a girl. My husband and I are sooooo excited because we have 3 boys already and this is our first daughter. I have asked this question before in the beginning of my pregnancy, but I want to ask again to see if I get any different responses. We are planning on giving her the first name Brooke. Can anyone give any good suggestions on a middle name. Its difficult to find one for this name. Our last name has 2 syllables in it. I liked Brooke Ashlynn and Brooke Elizabeth, but would still like more ideas. Thanks

My 6month old daughter has a rash that began under her armpits a few months ago (not bad then) and as of recently as grown down her sides and belly to her groin (not her back, arms or legs). Some areas are bright red 'blothes' while others are one 'bloth' that has grown what looks like a white head. It does not seem to bother her but when touched on her affected skin, she freezes as if it releaves her. I have researched on line and nothing explains it. We have not given her anything with wheat and use ALL Free & Clear detergents. Could she all of a sudden be developing an allergy to her formula?

My son just turned 4 months and at his well baby checkup he weighed 19lbs 1oz and is 26".. Is he really that big, I've never been around babies before, but everyone who sees him is just amazed at how big he is.. He's not fat or anything, he's already outgrown his 6-9 month clothes, and he's the youngest but biggest baby in his daycare.. I was just wondering if it is as weird as everyone is making it out to be or if it's just a normal thing, and he'll slow down soon. I'm not a worry wort or anything, I would just like some other opinions..

I just had a baby girl on the 2nd of Nov and I was breastfeeding for the 1st two days. Now my nipples have been REALLY sore and sometimes I breastfeed her but when the pain gets too tough for me to handle I switch to formula. Is this bad? I'm really engoreged as well and i was thinking of pumping some out and breastfeed her but I don't know. I put Lansinoh and it kind of helps but my nipples stay sore. ONE more thing before my nipple would stick out and now they are flat. Is that because i'm engoreged or something else. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!

My baby is 17 lbs Baby Bjorn is up to 22lbs. I want a front carrier and one that is not too bulky, and I do not want a sling. I was hoping for one that would last her at least until 30lbs? I am not sure if this is possible. Thanks.

When our son was first born, I was a stay at home mom, but I felt that I wanted to go back to work. Now my husband is a stay at home dad (a great one), and he and our son get along extremely well. However, my husband is the only one who our son will let comfort him. Whenever someone wants to hold our son (someone our son doesn't know very well or at all), and my husband walks out of our sons sight, he starts to cry and throw a fit. I know that children have stranger anxiety, but it seems as if our son's is very extreme. Sometimes he won't even let me comfort him. What would you suggest we do to get him to not be like this whenever my husband has walked out of the room? Our son is one year old.

I have tried getting them to join the chess club, but their flippers keep knocking over the pieces. A few joined the drama club, but their vocal range is limited. They seemed to lose interest in the pep club. Would the swim club be best for them?
