I have a nine month old boy and he nurses five times a day. Each time he nurses for only 10 minutes. Is that too less?

Wow....only 5 times a day at 9 mos old?! Mine nursed much more often than that! I assume he is also getting solids.....any other liquids?

He could be able to empty the breast in 10 mins at this age. They get more efficient as they get older.

Is he gaining weight and meeting milestones? Having wet and dirty diapers? If so, he's probably just fine.

Around 8 months my son started nursing for shorter periods of time. Sometimes it was just for 5 minutes. I was concerned too.

He was fine, he drank when he wanted. Also keep in mind that they are getting better at getting the milk as their suck is now stronger. So he is probably getting more in less time

Depends on how fast your milk flows. Some babys drink fast, some don't. If he is gaining weight like he should. He is doing great on how your feeding him. Good job, keep nursing!!

It varies with different children. Some get full more quickly than others. Just get the kid full. They let off the breast when they're full unless they fall asleep.

No, its up to every individual baby. If he is full he is full.
