do you prefer cheaper ones, or do you believe that you get what you pay for and are willing to fork out a few extra bucks?

I use huggies. Do any brands compare to them? I've tried cheaper stuff, but the ones with stretchiness to them seem to fit her better, and dont leave lines in her skin. Plus, now that she is bigger, she needs more absobency. She doesnt wake up when she is wet, so I haev to change her in the middle of the night, and would have to do it even more with the cheaper brands I tried. I think the only brand I havent tried is pampers, but they arent really any cheaper than huggies, unless you are one of those people who really gets picky over 11 cents.

I tried huggies, and both my kids leaked right through them. I switched to a cheap generic brand and they work just as good, if not better. I figure, why pay for a well known brand just so it can be leaked through, pooped on, and thrown away?
The brand I use is parents choice.

Parent's Choice. I've tried Huggies (regular, stretchy, and overnites), Pampers (all kinds), Luvs, White Cloud, and many many others. Why? My son ALWAYS leaked both numbers 1 AND 2, so you can imagine my dismay! Well, I thought since nothing worked well anyway I may as well pay half price for his diapers....and was sooooo pleasantly surprised when the leaking stopped. Yup, now instead of being an everyday occurance, leaks happen once every two to three months or so.

I think that in the beginning the cheap ones worked just fine. Once she got into a size 2, the cheap ones leaked everywhere. I think that luvs work great and are the best price.I recently discovered that you can buy coupons off of e-bay for $3 off a pack which actually make them like 50 cents cheaper than the Wal-Mart brand. However, I have a friend who swears by huggies. It just depends on your baby's shape and size and also how much they go at one time!

I've tried every single brand of disposable diapers on the market. In my experience, the cheaper always worked just as well as the more expensive. My sister, who is cheap, told me to buy the expensive ones, that they worked better for her kid. I knew tht if if she, Ms. Tightwad was saying that, it must be true. It just wasn't in my case. The less expensive ones from Wal-Mart and Babies R Us worked just as well as Pampers, Huggies, and Luvs. And the same is true for the wipes. I like the Wal-Mart brand wipes a lot better than the Huggies or Pampers type and they are about several dollars cheaper. Why throw your money away? Try the cheaper ones & if they work for you, just save your money.

Huggies r best. If you buy cheap ones then u end up using twice as many because they dont absorb as much. Go for the more expensive ones that work better cause it cheaper to only buy one pack a week rather thatn 2 packs of cheap ones

the off brand ones work just as well as the more expensive ones in my opinion. I tried the Albertson's store brand and they were just fine.

if you REALLY want to save money though, I'd suggest going online. I bought 192 Luvs diapers for $32. You can't beat that. They have good prices on Huggies and Pampers too, and they take coupons. I just choose Luvs because they are less bulky.

Trust me, go register for this site. Free shipping for your first order (shipping is only like 2 bucks anyway) and the delivery came right on time.

I love this site:

I get the cheapest ones Target brand or Walgreens brand because not only are they economical but they don't contain perfumes and tend to be more hypo-allergenic. My daughter has very sensitive skin and is allergic to Huggies and Pampers brand diapers. But I found that the lighter cottonish stretch tabs were best for her and also don't have dyes or anything else to irritate her. I also use Target brand wipes that are hypo-allergenic and they work better than any other I have tried. White Cloud is also good.

I use Huggies, I've tried everything else, and my son would pee through them during the night. Luvs and Pampers are okay, but not my first choice.

I have tried a few other generic cheap brands, but have ended up sticking with Pampers. I have five children and for the last three I have only used Pampers.
