we're not like engaged or anything. but we've talked about baby names, and i had given him a list of girls names that i LOVED, and he picked the 2 that he liked the best, and he gave me ONE boy name that he liked and i don't really like it. what should i do?? i don't want him to think that i wanna be selfish and name all 3 of our kids, but i REALLY don't like the boy name!!! (it's benji by the way--it reminds me and others of a dog and i don't want my kid to get made fun of).

shes 3, and where the oily looking scales are she seems to be losing hair. Does anybody know what this could be and what I could use to help prevent it? I am taking her to the doctor on tuesday to get her doctors opinion, just curious if anybody had any ideas to do before then.

One person suggested that it was cradle cap, can you get that as you get older, I thought that was exclusively for newborns and infants, if it is cradle cap, how can I prevent it from happening again?

I gave birth to a healthy baby girl this past Wednesday with every intention of exclusively breastfeeding. It's something that I believe strongly in and wanted so badly for my baby and myself. I read about it, took classes on it, talked to mothers, and generally thought I was really well prepared. The first few attempts didn't go well and we never got her latched on, despite help from the lactation consultants at the hospital. On day two they said we needed to give her some supplemental formula because she was SO hungry and MAD, so I said okay to that. Now we're on day 4 and I still have yet to get baby latched on, even for a minute. My milk has come in but she just wont even try to nurse! I've tried and tried and then tried some more to get her to latch but she just gets frustrated and starts screaming and I end up giving her a bottle. I'm afraid if I don't get her breastfeeding soon I wont produce more milk for her and I'm SO disappointed with the way this has gone. Help!!

It doesn't sem to bother him, but i am worried. He had baby acne since he was 4 weeks old. I was told to use hydrocortisone if i wanted to , but i didn't and now it is almost gone by itself. We give him a bath every other day and i am using humidifiers throughout the house. I don't want to use hydrocortisone etc. - he is too young for that. Any suggestions?

Currently he finishes his last bottle at about 9:30pm and falls asleep by 10pm. Then he wakes up at around 5 which is great.-sleeps for about seven hours of sleep. But I wouldn't mind sleeping a bit more since I get to bed by midnight after I'm done with all my things. Will he eventually sleep a few more hours? (I have not introduced solids yet).

My daughter is 1 year old and only 16 lbs. The doctor said that she is really small and wants to run some blood tests. I already had 2, thyriod Celiac and they were normal. Do any of you have this problem? If so what was it?

p.s. She is a good eater.

The pediatrician just looked at me like I was an idiot. But they tell you to report unsusal behavior if you see it after your baby gets vaccinated. My daughter was 3 mos. when she got her first set of vaccination shots. They could've changed the dates so she could be on schedule like the rest of the world but that's not the point. I taught her to stick out her tongue. After she got the shots she started sticking it out & licking more than usual. She also started to produce more saliva. I should know my baby enough to know this isn't usual for her. The doctors just looked at me like I was retarded & said it was usual for this to occur at 3 mos. But it only started after she got her shots. Is it normal for a child to do this at 3 months?

he's not waking up hungry or needing a diaper change...I've simply spoiled him. Sometimes he sleeps through the night...other nights he screams until I come to him and then he sleeps on my chest...I know I have to stop this...but I don't like to hear him cry. My fault I know :)

Yesterday my wife had our 4 months and 3 weeks young baby girl vaccinated with Rotarix RV vaccine ( for rotavirus ) and Prevnar PCV vaccine ( Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine ). My question is; Is it safe to have started the first dose of Rotarix at age 4 months and 3 weeks for my baby? The pedetrician did not ask my wife about the age of our baby when she was brought at the clinice for the vaccination. But upon checking the internet for information, I found that the starting age for the first dose for Rotarix is by 14 weeks.
