well i think my friend might be abusing her twins.well first of off i care for my baby more then her because i spend every minute of my time with my baby.i feed it kiss it,and all the other stuff.and my friend,when her 1week year is crying and dosen't stop she slaps it in the face,and the taps the belly hard ten times.then her other baby she just neglects it.is that abuse?and what kind?and should i adopt the baby from her?

i'm not sure what kind of child abuse it is but child abuse is when a parent injures or hurts the child or sexually abuses them. Especially since it is only 1 week old baby's bones are still developing she could give the kid some serious head damage and the baby may not be able to do well in school
i would suggest calling the police or some child care place and tell them to check you friend and tell her all of this stuff and also tell them that it is annonumus so your friend doesn't get mad at you
depending on what the police/child worker does than you can maybe adopt them
that would be really nice!!
but they might give the mother one more chance

I think you need to go to school and get an education. Your grammar really sucks. I don't believe you are 22. I don't believe you have a baby. I think you are just an attention seeker. You posted a question about your baby choking. I find it hard to believe you logged onto a computer to ask this question to complete strangers while your baby was choking. Then you posted a question about your father in law sexually abusing you.
Every adult knows you can't just go out and adopt a baby. It isn't that simple. Stay off the computer little girl and go back to school.

It abuse and she should be reported to the proper athority and if you are not family you will not be able to adopt her baby unless she is found unfit and dose not meet reqierments of the courts and it is hard to prove a mother unfit . you would have to prove that you are cappible to provide for your family and the extra child .But if there is anyone in her family that is willing and better fit they will get the chil before you would .
If you feel that the child is being abused or in any danger then it is your responsibilty to do somthing .

Ok, if this is a serious question, then by all means, call someone, do something. That is horrible. She could have some postpartum issues or something and she's certainly hurting those babies. What do you do when she does this? Just sit there and not say anything? My goodness...that just sounds horrible!!! Take action immediately.

Slapping an infant or punching it in the stomach is abuse, yes. Tell your friend the next time you see her do that that if you see her do it again, you will call the authorities. Be ready for her to get angry at you-- but if you are being truthful here, then you SHOULD do something to stop it. Try to talk her into taking some classes or get counseling so that she can learn to manage her anger better and take better care of her infants.

YES everything you describe is abuse, and you are legally responsible if you know about it and do not report it to the authorities immediately. YOU COULD GO TO JAIL TO, FOR KNOWING ABOUT IT AND NOT REPORTING IT- WOULD YOU WANT SOME ONE TO ABUSE YOUR BABY? Slapping any child in the face for any reason AT ANY AGE is abuse. First off, you can't just adopt her baby. She would have to give them up. Second, if you knew that she was ABUSING/NEGLECTING those kids, YOU could get in big trouble if you don't report it. (Where is the father?)
So, is your baby still chocking while your friend is hitting the twins with your husband there?

Yep, call social services on your friend - I think you already know that - then you need to take first aid, cpr and parenting classes for yourself because you had an emergency with your own child and went online instead of getting real help.

you should call the police as soon as possible....quit reading all of this and run to make that call! that is total and absolute endangerment of a child's safety and you should be concerned,doesn't she know how many families at this moment are praying to have a child to love and care for? all those whom can not have any children? this is a really really sad story!
