Anyone use Dr Brown's bottles on their babies? I noticed an air tube in them. I was just wondering if they were a pain to clean with that tube???

Has anyone's baby had cradle cap? (extremely dry skin on the scalp) My 3 month old son has it and I have been putting baby oil in his hair to loosen up the skin. Are there any other remedies anyone else has tried?

I thawed some frozen breastmilk last night to feed my son. It was from the first of August. He would not take it- he usually accepts milk from a bottle. I smelled of the milk to see if perhaps it was spoiled but it had a matallic scent. Any thoughts??

This is a morbid question, but does anyone know of a chld who was hurt or worse when co-sleeping with an adult? I am terrified of suffocation. We use NO pillows and no fluffy bedding, and we never drink or anything like that. I am still worried !!!

We have a 5 month old son, and he slept with us for a while because I was worried about SIDS, then my hubby and I just never wanted to be in another room from him, so we contimued to let him sleep with us. YES, people, I know many of you don't beleive in this. That's fine - I'm not sure I do, myself. But, nontheless we ARE, and I just want to know from others who have done it what they would do differently, or when it should stop, etc. Please don't tell me what a loser I am for letting him sleep with us. Like I said - I am not arguing for it or saying it's best - we just happen to be in the situation and are wondering about others.

Birth date is 4/9/06. If it fits in numerology then it would be very good.

My wife had a caesarean section on Aug 24 2006. From day one she is complaining pains while breast feeding the baby. After two days the doctor in charge suggested to give to formula milk temporarily. But formula milk still continues. All Pediatricians are suggesting to Breast feed.

My wife is very much worried that none of the doctors we consulted are addressing her issue of intense pain in the breasts. They have prescribed couple of creams to apply, which is actually of no use.

Is it normal to have intense, unbearable pain and burning sensation of breasts during breast-feeding in the initial stage? If yes, what is the solution?
If there is no pain she has no problem breast-feeding.

My son is now 9 months old, and catching up very quickly. He is pulling himself up, and trying to get his legs underneath him, but he's not crawling...I'd like some suggestions on toys for physical development, and some for some early language skills too.

I have heard these teeth also be called milk teeth and eyeteeth. She is 5 1/2 months old, and breastfeeds. She drinks her juice from a cup with my help, and eats number 2 level baby foods. She is vigorously chewing on fingers and toys in the sides of her mouth and I have noticed the top right canine is showing a white mark the way my son's gums did before his teeth broke through. Is it strange or wrong for these to come in first?

I may be paranoid but I have to ask. My eight month old daughter is not very interested in breast feeding right now. In the morning and at night before bed she'll nurse but I don't know if she's getting enough. She won't take a bottle or a sippy cup but she loves her fruit and vegetable baby foods and her oatmeal during the day. I'm worried she'll become dehydrated. What should I do? How would I know if she was dehydrated? How would I treat that? Thanks.

My daughter has her first cold. :( She is coughing, congested, has a runny nose off and on and has had a few fevers. Her doctor said to keep giving her tylenol and make sure she is getting enough fluids. Is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable or help the cold go away faster? OTC infant medicines? Do they make baby vapo rub? Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

I was watching the news tonight and i heard the story about the woman throwing her baby away in the employee bathroom trash can and i was wondering how could someone be so cold hearted to get pregnant and carry a baby for 9 months and to just throw it in the garbage like its a worthless piece of garbage? THIS IS WRONG AND IT NEEDS TO STOP!!!! these babies are not asking to be born or to be killed or hurt. Babies are precious gifts from God and it is so sad. You never know what that child will grow up to be one day and you are just giving lie to it and taking it away so soon. It is so sad when we have so many people who want children and can't have them and people are killing them. HOW CAN SOMEONE FEEL THEIR BEAUTIFUL BABY MOVE INSIDE OF YOU AND THEN YOU GIVE BIRTH AND SEE YOUR BEAUTIFUL BABIES FACE AND YOU JUST TOSS IT AWAY! A WHOLE LIFE!!!
