You have a lovely name and I am sure you want a lovely name for your baby. Don't go to far overboard on the funky though. Remember some day your child will be an adult and hopefully his/her name will be appropriate at that time too. You can always give the baby a funky nickname. Some good names that you don't hear too much anymore might be Jonah or Theodore for a boy or perhaps Sarah or Emily for a girl. Get a good baby name book and look at the thousands of names and maybe that will send your imagination soaring. Good Luck to you and your little one.

Think how he/she would feel in 20, 40, 40, 50 60 years time if you give the baby a stupid name, not to mention the potential bullying at school.
You are naming a child here, not a pet or fashion accessory so think long and hard.

Do a Yahoo search for baby names, you'll get many great sites. I got my daughter's name out of a names book.
If you're doing an unconventional 1st name, give the kid a normal or classic middle name in case they totally hate it, that way they can drop it and go by their middle instead.
