Though they're often sold with crib bedding sets, pillows are not recommended for children under 2 years of age, as children that small can easily suffocate while using one.
But if you want to give your child a pillow while he's still sleeping in a crib, give him a small one (the size of an airline pillow). However, it's best to wait until your child is moving from a crib to a bed before introducing a pillow.
Your child's first pillow should be firm. A feather pillow is not recommended because it's too soft and can smother a child if his head sinks into it while he's sleeping.

No. The baby is not old enough to have a pillow. What if he/she rolls off the pillow? Can't move the pillow away from his/her face? I wouldn't gamble with it. Too many bad things could happen.

Although there are no for sure connectios to SIDS, it is strictly forbidden to put your baby to sleep with a pillow , or even a larger blanket than the baby needs. You should also always put him to sleep on his back.
I say why even risk it? The baby is comfortable with out it.

Don't do it!! Take the pillow out!! Your baby could roll over in the night and put his face right in it and stop breathing from suffocation!!

No you shouldn't do it. The baby will suffocate and you will lose him. Not worth having the pillow and using it if you lose your precious child.

yes. ones that are very small are best, when used in conjunction with a sheet of plastic as a blanket. Also,do not believe what they told you in child care classes. It is not necessary to feed the child every few hours. This makes it weak and will lack character. Feel the child weekly for best results. good luck
