I had twins at 34 weeks; one was healthy enough to go home at only 4 lb 8 oz the other stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks until she could eat. She didn't have the suck-swallow-breath reflex.
The others were healthy and born at 39 weeks and 37 weeks.

I had my little girl at 28 weeks and under 3 pounds. She was in the hospital for 53 days but is home now. She is almost 10 pounds and doing well. She had a lot of health problems at the beginning - digestive, breathing, bleeding, vision, you name it.
She had a lot of follow up appointments with specialits and it seems as if she is over most of her problems. She just turned 4 months old last week.
Thank goodness for health insurance and wonderful doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
