Can any nursing moms give me advice? We are registering for baby gifts and I don't know which would be better. The major issue is the price of the double pump.

ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE!!

My son had been sleeping through the night until recently. Now he wakes up @ 2a.m. and won't go back to sleep unless I hold him or put him in the bed with my husband and I. I give him cereal with his bottle before bed thinking that will help, but it doesn't. I thought by 5 months everyone would be sleeping better. Any suggestions?

Someone told me that Johnson & Johnson's baby lotion is not good. I'm wondering what other kinds of products parents use on their babies.

My 6 week old baby only wants to sleep on his tummy, if my husband or I put him down on his back he gets frustrated and starts to cry but when we lay him on his tummy he goes right to sleep. I know about "Backtosleep" and the risk of SIDS but is it really that bad? Back in the days my mom put us to sleep on our tummys...I can't see how things have changed so much, but then again I am a first time mother...any advice??

i think in other countries it is acceptable to feed anywhere and everywhere. why do people cover their eyes or look away when women breastfeed? i am a breastfeeding mother. are there any laws preventing breastfeeding here in the usa in public? just curious. not one of those moms who tell anyone what is best for their babies as far as formula or breasfeeding.

I was given a can of formula by a neighbor, that was opened but not used. She said that she bought the wrong kind for her grandkid, but realized it after she opened it. I gave my daughter a bottle of it. Then my neighbor called and said that she forgot to tell me that it was opened six mths ago, but sealed and stored in her pantry. I know that you should use it within a mth after opening. What can happen?

I have noted quite extensivily that mothers with crying babies in shopping presincts, super-markets and cafes as well as in thier houses take AGES to register that there baby is crying and wants to be fed or have its dyper changed etc.

This I am dying to know why this happens; or is it that so many parents have a heart of stone.

They spend so long talking, shopping or doing what ever they have to do, that they seem to never get around this, when we all should see this as 2nd priority.

I think all these mothers and fathers are as bent as a 9 bob note.

Explain.

My ten month sons crib was stolen before I could get it out the box. He slept with me until he was six months old and I moved him to his playpen to move him to the crib gradually. What should I do? How long does a child stay in a crib.
