Well, I realized that what I thought I wanted for my baby shower wasn't what I really ended up using. So, here's a list of things I should've requested for my baby shower, had I known:
1. Hooter Hider
2. My Brest Friend nursing pillow
3. Gerber onesies (tagless and snug-fitting)
4. Pampers diapers (Swaddlers)
5. The Ultimate Crib Sheet
6. Aveeno Baby bath wash
7. Eucerin lotion
8. Mother's Milk Mate
9. Bumbo
10. The Miracle Blanket

I had to think on this one. My son is only 6 months, but I was having trouble remembering what I put on the registry!
Crib Set(the matching sheet, dust ruffle, comfortor, bumper pads)
baby monitor
baby book
receiving blankets
bath products (no bathtub. I have 1 & only used it twice.)
bouncy seat
swing
stroller
carseat
crib (and a cradle or bassinet, if they plan on using one)
I think that the best things I got were gift cards, because then, after the shower, I could go out and get everything important that no one gave me, and pick out some of my own things. It was kinda dissapointing at the shower to open several envelopes with a little card in them instead of something tiny and cute to hold up an 'aww!' over, but they were really a blessing!

It seems like everyone I know requested diapers in one form or another. Which makes sense, considering that diapers probably constitute the most expense.. I am using cloth on my guy, it's cheaper and better for his little bottom, but disposables are about $10 - 15 a package now, and 1 package generally equals about 2-3 days.
Otherwise, I think clothes, crib sheets & waterproof pads, bath stuff like washcloths, towels, & soaps, toys...
The best thing I got at my shower, though, was a diaper bag my sister made which has nice elasticized pockets & a detachable, machine-washable changing pad. Especially since I didn't have a changing table at home for about 2 weeks, that diaper bag has been very, very handy.

No one ever thinks of DIAPERS!! Thank God my mother was in charge of my baby shower. She wrote a list and put it in everyones invite. They brought a gift and diapers. Alot of them said they would have never thought of diapers because they were so busy trying to buy the cutest outfit. But honestly I had diapers for about the first 3 months (thank god!!)

All i really wanted was a gift card so i could go get what i wanted and needed and not have to open all the stuff and sort through it to figure out what i didn't get. MY friends and family got together and got one big walmart card and i still use it. My daughter is 6 months old:)
I use it now for diapers and wipes and small things that she needs.

Diaper genie (although i prefer the diaper champ because you dont need to buy special bags
graco travel system (stroller and infant snug ride car seat)
Crib and crib matress (used mattress has increased risk of SIDS)
Crib bedding along with matching nursery decor
High Chair
the Boppy (I would not breastfeed another child without it)
Baby monitor
Glider and ottoman (so important when you are nursing at 3am)
Bouncy seat or baby swing (its not necessary to have both)
Diaper, Diaper, Diaper and Diapers

No, I truthfully would not. desire her your superb and whilst she is able to get pregnant back, then host yet another bathe and get her a recent then. i would not get her something by using fact some thing like plant existence, small present, and so on. is in simple terms going to hold interest to her and make her experience awkard, and it would additionally be some day of occasion for the different mom. She has little doubt established what has took place and is attending in help of her pal who's having the toddler. you need to mail her a card however.
