Half white, half black baby was born light skined. Will he get darker or stay light skined? What is your experience with biracial babies? I have no knowledge of this and would greatly appreciate your information. Thank you.

I'm always worried about them being toxic, or the toys not being clean.

he was born 9lbs 2 oz. 23 inches. he now weighs over 10lbs. so far he seems to be healthy. but by the time he finishes eating and being burped, he hungry again. is this normal? I read that he is going through a growth spurt, but he is ALWAYS hungry. I know he is eating becuase his diapers are 4-6 peed, and 3-4 pooped a day.

I'm trying to feed her stage 3 food. I've tried eggs, mashed food, and things like greenbeans. She is fine the first bite or two, then starts gaging and then throws up. Is this a normal thing for some babies?

Okay I made a previous post about my baby and her formula issues, now since some of you replied and said that my milk CAN be re-established, you have my spirits back up and I'm going to give it another serious go with trying to breastfeed...

My question... what are some ways that *I* can help re-establish my milk supply? I know that I can attempt to put her to my breasts each time she's hungry and get her to try it, but what are some other ways that I can do this? Will breast-feeding help eliminate the constipation, belly cramps, and colicky attitude she's got going on? How long should I *roughly* expect until she's completely nursing with no formula? Yall are great, thanks a bunch!

They have no life experience, no memory... nothing. When I see them smiling while asleep, they must be dreaming of something good. Don't you think?

I taught my kid by interacting with him. We did not have the learning videos that are out today and didn't buy computer generated toys, and he is a smart man. When I grew up, we learned what we knew in school.Learning videos are popular.Did we stop teaching our kids what we know?

Right before I delivered my daughter I specifically told the nurses that I wanted to exclusively breast-feed my daughter. Because I was under some sedation (Nubain and Phenergan), they didn't want me to breastfeed. So they fed her Enfamil LIPIL w/Iron (without asking me either). I had Similac Advanced w/Iron at home from a gift-bag from the docs office. I eventually had to switch to the Similac w/ Iron as requested from my baby's doctor, b/c she figured that her constipation & colicky attitude stemmed from the Similac Advanced. Well, since WIC doesn't offer the Similac, now they have her on Enfamil Gentlease. Doc also told me to put 1tsp of prune juice per 1oz of formula to help with constipation. I'm at wits end. I am getting tired of getting the run around from her doctor & the WIC office & I'm tired of them messing with her digestive system. It's NOT fair to her, she's only 3wks old. My milk has dried & I'm depressed that I can't feed her the way I want. Any thoughts on this?

My six month old son (5 months; 3 weeks) hasn't rolled over. Well, I should say not since he was four weeks old. Just now, while playing, he managed to lift himself OVER the bobby (propped him while sitting) and then manuevered himself behind the boppy.

How can he do this and not roll over yet?

He doesn't like his belly, but we have at least 30 minutes a day of belly time and it's getting better. When he sits he and lunges forward to grab something and falls to his belly he'll stay there and play. He'll even teeter totter on his side...but no roll.

Why do you think he's not rolling over yet?

My daughter is almost 2 months old. She is on six ounces of formula. It only lasts her about 3 hours. Is that normal, or should it last her longer?

My son is 6 months old and all he does is whine all day. I offer him water , milk, fruit, meat, vegies, desert, chew toys, teething meds, diaper change, play, i try to put him to sleep and he just whines until a long time then he just sleeps. I feel like the only time he stops whineing is when he is sleeping.
I took him to doc a million times and they say he's just fine .. They make fun of me for bringing him tothe doc so much.
Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?
Is he just spoiled? Does he miss his daddy? His dad has been on a long work job for the past week or two but i think my son has been whiny for the past month or twol..

so confused and frusterated.
