My 5 mo. son got his first 2 teeth about a month ago. Now his top teeth are coming through and he has started biting HARD. I have breastfed before but his brother was almost 10 mo before he had any teeth and he understood "no" or I would just give him a sippie. My baby right now is too young for that. I want to continue breastfeeding - does any one have any tips to get through this?

i'm going through the process of getting my 8mth old son to sleep in his crib. Of course he doesn't want to be there and were working on it together. But my neighbour always bangs on the wall when he cries. It's not like I let him scream for ever and I'm usually in the same room as him. I feel bad but what can i really do? I've talked to her and let her know the situation but she proceds to bang. I feel as if i'm stuck. any idea's ?

Hi, i'm a single mom with a 2 1/2yr old boy who is potty trained but refuses to use his potty outdoors - since we live in the country & are out a lot this has become a problem. If he needs to go he just lies on his front & pees his pants.
I know this may sound wierd, but as a mom how can i teach him to pee on a tree for example?
Any advice would be welcome
lol. Laura xxx.

If you were discreetly nursing your baby in a quiet corner, but in a public place, and some asked you to go somewhere else to nurse, like a restroom.

Need something to go with Jaden. No, Jordan doesn't go with it since they both begin with J. (although I do like that name) I don't like Taylor, Ryan,Reece, Pat, Skylar or Lee. Yes, It has to be a unisex name since I'm naming my angel baby. Thank you for any good suggestions. Maybe someone knows of a good website that I haven't been to already.

I have made one batch of these so far and they are not too bad, I used Bounty paper towels and a little baby oil and a tiny bit of lavender baby wash. Does anyone have a "recipe" that works really well for them that they would like to share? I love using mine, but I think there are too many parts water and not enough baby wash or oil? Thank you in advance for any serious answers. And for those of you who are already thinking it, don't even bother telling me to buy them at the store! I have a six month old and I find it wasteful and I like to know what is going on her skin!

Hi ! I breastfeed my daughter (she is 7 months old today!) and i would like to breastfeed her until she is 1 year old.
she cut her 2 bottom teeth about 2 weeks ago. she is starting to bite when she nurses...not all the time but sometimes she does. (ouch, those little teeth feel like they are razor sharp!)
i would love any suggestions on how to get her to not do that......

thank you!

Hi Moms. I have a questions regarding bottle feeding. My daughter is 13 months and eats table food all day, with 6 oz. of juice (max) and water. Before her afternoon and evening nap she has an 8 oz. bottle of whole cows milk. But, she will not drink cows milk in a sippy cup. Should I end the two bottle feedings and attempt to offer her the milk in the sippy cups gradually at naptime? I heard that it may not be good for her at her age to have a bottle before bed is this true? Also, is it time for me to stop the bottles and if so, can someone please give me step by step guidelines on how to do it. I really don't know. This is our first baby and I welcome all suggestions. Thanks!

My mom and dad give me Similac Advance, but I want to make sure I'm eating the tastiest grub. The big kid at day care eats Enfamil (I think, but I'm not sure because I can't read the label) and I'm wondering if it's really good since he eats a lot. Thanks a lot for your help!

I found this out the other day and thought it was very neat. Just wondering what people's guesses are or how many people know the truth about the children that do best who are sick or premature. First right answer gets 10 pts!

When my son was born we started him on formula, he turned two weeks old this past Saturday. My milk still has not totally dried up, although only drips come out. I have been wondering about switching to breast feeding but feel stupid since he has been on formula since he was born.

My husband thinks I may just be curious since I did not breast feed my first child. Has anyone else went through this? What do you think/what would you do?
