Yes. My son at 2mths was rolling himself over. He also started lifting his head just like ur baby. He just turn 4mth yest. and he is almost about to start crawling. He had his 4mth check up yest. too and his Ped. was freaking out how strong, energetic and how fast he is developing. Then again my other son started walking at 10mths and their dad walked at 9mths when he was a baby, so I wouldn't be surprise if my baby starts early too.

Yeah, it's normal. My daughter has been doing that since she is two months old! She is seven months now and can sit on her own, but still cant get up from a lying position to a sitting position by herself..she CONSTANTLY does it now! She is determined!! (probably just like your little son!!)

Strong bones and sign of good development, he could be walking when he turns 8 or 9 months. Don't stop him but always watch closely, he could hurt himself and it's good if you are there to see if he manages to do 10 sit ups...

yeah it's normal. My son did that also around 3 months, but he was ahead a bit (still a little). That's great in any case, strong baby is always good :)

This is NOT normal! Quick! Get the receipt and return him for something more... predictable!
(Ok. Just kidding. Why are you worried? If your baby is happy and healthy and developing well who cares how he compares to others? Don't start giving him a complex already!)

yes, it's definately normal and wonderful that he's so strong. they always look like their doing sit ups when they start doing it and are so funny....he wants to see what's going on around him and he's starting to get inquisitive...another great sign...just be happy for him and let him progress at his own rate. Good luck and enjoy him
!
