Nature with epidoral. Water birth is getting more popular however it can be very dangerous still. There must be specially trained doctors there in order to give underwater birth. C-section is also a way many go but you can lose control of your stomach muscles doing this. I cant say for sure. I had natural with epidoral. It was the best experience of my life

I don't happen to believe one is better than another. It depends on YOU and what makes you feel as comfortable as possible.
Cesarean is surgery and dealing with the incision is very painful to some. You are aware of everything that is going on. Epidural will relieve the pain of the cont rations but not the pressure and you are awake and aware. Natural, if you can do it, is probably the best and you are certainly feeling everything.
After giving birth, you're going to feel elated with the birth of your new child, but the energy you put into lab will leave you totally exhausted.
Talk with your physician or mid-wife about the choices available and remember even while in labor you can change your mind and decide on a different delivery method.
A few years back, too many doctors were doing C-sections for their patients. It was easy for the patient because at full term you could actually schedule your delivery date, and it was convenient for the doctor to be able to work around a schedule, but as with any surgery, risks are involved. And with the increase in C-sections, a higher percentage of patients were experiencing difficulties.

A waterbirth is AMAZING! The water is so relaxing and really does help to relieve a lot of the discomfort. There is a reason a lot of people call it an "aqua-dural" because it works so well! And babies born in the water are very relaxed and alert. They hardly cry. I've had one "land birth" in a hospital, a waterbirth in a freestanding birth center and a home waterbirth. After all three of my unmedicated births I've felt energized and like I could just move mountains! The pain is gone after the birth is over. You may be a little sore, but not too big of a deal. There was really never a moment I thought I couldn't handle it. The worst part of each birth was really only a matter or minutes, usually transition and crowning.

For my first born, I did it all natural..
For my second born, They gave me the shot for pain because I was dilating too quickly. (Went from 10 minute contractions to 1 minute contractions within moments.) They also told me I would give birth before the the shot kicked in.. .
My cousin did the water birth, and both she and the baby were so relaxed..
I should say here, that the doctors wanted me to have a c-section th first time around.. labor was almost 24 hours, intense, and my son was going to be breech. I still refused , and told them I had already known that.. patted my belly and asked why they had not known that before now. Heck, you could see his shoulders and bottom pressed against my belly! There was no mistaking which way this kiddo was coming out. He came out feet first..
I have since learned that if you allow your husband to play with your nipples, and even take them into his mouth, that your labor will go faster, and easier.

Well I have to admit first off that having a epiderial saved me a lot of pain. I was not even dialated two cm. and I was in a lot of pain. My blood pressure was going through the roof! I am so glad I had that procedure. Every one is different though. you will know when the time comes whether or not you want to take the drugs and whether or not you will want the epiderial.
The epiderial made me compleatly numb from my belly button down. It was a little uncomfortable not being able to move my legs. But it took all the pain of the contractions away. After it was done and over I did get a little bit of a headache and I had to wait an hour befor I could get up. But I think that if I have another little one I will get the epiderial again.

I went 19 hours before I took the epidural and it was a stupid thing to do. I was in pain 100 on a scale of 1 - 10, stuck at 6cm. I took the epidural when they threatened me with pitocin then C-section. An hour after they put in the epidural, I was ready to push. I felt just enough pressure to know where to push, and ittook only an hour to push the baby out. I was so relaxed I didn't need an episiotimy, I just tore a little (but didn't feel it) and ended up with like 5 stitches. I felt great after. My legs were numb for a few hours, but I didn't want to get up and walk around after that anyway.
Good luck.

natural with no epidural; sorry folks having an epidural is not natural child birth, lol.
YOU can do it, its only a few hours of pain and you can wear that badge with the greatest honor since few women do it now awadays.
c sections should only be for emergencies only and not the wimps who dont want to feel any pain, unless you've already had that first c section they will do it again
with both of my babies ( 16 months apart ) I did natural, tore only half inch with my son, 8 pushes and he was out. my daughter no tearing, I didnt even cry out during labor, one and a half push and she was out and I was induced which makes labor more intense. I was up and walking around after both

I have worked in L&D for 5 years and here is my conclusion: Let your body work the pain out on its own. If you put drugs into your system i.e. epidural...painkillers etc. you only prolong the birth. Water birthing is a great relief being in the tub (hopefully it is a big tub) and is very safe. I am due in December and that is my plan. No drugs unless I am tiring myself out and putting myself in so much pain that I can no longer push unless I get a break. Nubain is the only way for me.
Good luck!

i had all natural no drug birth, it hurt but i wasn't out of it when it was done. with a c-section they cut through your abdominal walls which is extremely painful with a very long recovery time, i wouldn't suggest it unless absolutely necessary! i heard water birth's can be nice if you love baths it does help relax you to make the birthing experience more bearable

Try a natural vaginal birth. I've done both a vaginal and c-section and the c-section was not by choice. I pushed 8 times with my first born son and BOOM!! he was out and it was awesome.
With a c-section, the recovery is EXTREMELY PAINFUL and taking drugs afterward is great, but try pooping after a few days and it's a buzz kill all the way!
Do what your body was made to do.... PUSH IT OUT, SHOVE IT OUT... WAAAAYYY OUT!
