every time my daughter ( who's now 2 ) hears something through Brian Adams she stops what ever shes doing and she begins swaying her head decrease backward and forward without expression on her face in any respect. Shes been doin it because that she became like 10 or eleven months. Its very humorous to observe.

My daughter loves Ring of Fire-she has loved that song since she first heard it on the radio about a year ago-I was stunned. Of all the music we listen to (I work in radio, so I listen to everything all the time) she will absolutely stop everything to listen to Ring of Fire. (She is also very fond of the COnway & Tammy duet "You're the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly and teh Battle of New Orleans, but Ring of Fire wins hands down.)

That's so funny you ask....my lil boy loves to dance to the Sex and the City theme song. It's so funny.
My little girl doesnt dance but she'll move back and forth when she hears the baseball game and when she hears my son & nephew say " Lets go White Sox!!! She claps her hands and swings her body from side to side. I think it's too cute!!!

i was just talking about this with my sister.
she listens to the radio on the way to and from work and she has her 4 yr and 1 yr old with her.
i asked her whether she thought the radio was o.k....she said the girls don't even realize the lyric's meaning.
case in point...
my niece's favorites:
crazy-by gnarles barkley
loosen up my buttons--pussycat dolls...except my neice insists that it's "loosen up my buns" my sister told her that doesn't make sense and my niece says it doesn't matter b/c that's what they are saying!!!
also, she likes a song called "ring my bell" but instead she swears it's the "rainbow" song!
so, the oldest sings along and the 1 yr old just bops her head to the beat b/c she is learning how to dance:)
kids are sooo funny!

My niece is 2 and she likes all kinds of music.
She likes hard core rap and Spanish salsa style music. Its pretty funny how she dances to that stuff.
One song she also really likes is that oldies song "I'm Your Puppet" by James & Bobby Purify.

When mine was a baby, the song "sweet home Alabama", for some reason, seemed to calm him when he was fussy. He would stop crying and bounce his feet. Great to know for car rides!
