I burped my two sons until they started burping themselves...between 4 and 5 months. One day I sat my older son up from his bottle and he let out a HUGE belch. He did this for a couple months, then just stopped burping. :) My younger son was the same way.

Until he burps on his own. My son is 6 months and we still burp but only after he finishes his entire bottle.

I burpped mine until they were off the bottle. I took the bottle away at one year. I burped until I got a real good one out then stopped, a couple of minutes.

Good Question! I was wondering the same thing. But like the others say, when they start burping on there own. Its so frustrating isnt it, especially when they take a while to do it!
